Shoes
Sunshine shoes and puddle splashes, Golden rays and morning dashes.
Yellow boots and soggy toes,
Off we go where sunshine grows.
Clover runs and leaps ahead, Chasing light where dreams are spread. A splash, a giggle, sky so wide, With sunshine shoes, I beam with pride.
Drips and droplets mark my trail, Raindrops gone, but joy won’t pale.
In Brite Star light, I skip and shine, These sunshine shoes feel just like mine.
The Butterfly Parade
Butterflies float, soft and bright, Wings of orange, pink, and white.
Marching gently, step by step,
A breeze of color where we’ve crept.
Through the meadow, past the gate, We parade and celebrate.
One lands softly on my nose—
A flutter, a laugh, and off it goes.
Nature’s dance across the land, No need to chase, no need to plan.
The Butterfly Parade drifts by, Underneath a Brite Star sky.
Big
Rock, Little Bug
Big rock, little bug, crawling slow, Where it came from, I don’t know.
I watch it close with quiet care, It waves its legs and doesn't scare.
Tiny trails in earthy sand,
A ladybug with spots so grand.
Through the grass, beneath my chin, The littlest world I'm peeking in.
Brite Star fields hold stories small, Of bugs and rocks and wonders all.
I lie and smile and let it be,
A world of magic just for me.
Windy Day Wishes
Kites fly high and dreams take flight, Tails of color, dancing light. My arms stretch wide, my feet take wing, The wind can carry anything.
Clouds drift by above the trees, Ribbons twirl on whispering breeze.
I close my eyes, my wish takes hold, The wind will carry what I told.
In Brite Star skies, so big and blue, I feel the world is bright and new.
My kite, my hope, my heart’s delight, Wishes sail beyond my sight.
