It was a special day at Brite Star school. Everyone was excited to board the bus for their annual trip to the Brite Star Ranch.

Missy and her four sisters could hardly wait to welcome their school friends and show them around their beloved ranch.

The Brite Star petting zoo was home to a delightful assortment of critters, which were always a delight for visitors to meet.

The children spent the day taking care of the animals and learning about life on the ranch.

Mr. G and Amy kept the kids entertained by offering fun donkey rides.

Uncle Tom, the caretaker of the ranch, had prepared a special treat: a fun-filled hayride around the ranch!

"Curious about ranch life, Stella, Cynthia, Alexander, Miles, and Marge bombarded Missy with questions.” Stella: "Missy, what animals live on your ranch?” Missy: "We have horses, cows, chickens, and even a few friendly goats!"

"Missy was more than happy to share her love for the ranch, patiently answering all their questions.” Cynthia: "How early do you start your day here?” Missy: "We start at dawn. Animals need to be fed and the barn needs to be cleaned bright and early!"

Alexander: "What's that big machine over there?” Missy: "That's our tractor! It helps us with heavy lifting and keeping the fields in good shape."

Miles: "Is it hard to take care of horses?” Missy: "It takes time and patience, but it's rewarding. Each horse has its own personality and needs."

Marge: "Do you grow anything on the ranch?”

Missy: "Yes, we grow vegetables and fruits in our garden. It’s a lot of work but so worth it when you taste the fresh produce!"

Marge: ”The Brite Star Ranch is huge, how far does it go?” Missy: ”As far as you can see, it’s a lot to take care of but we love it!"

Think About: 1. What animals did Missy mention live on the ranch? 2. Why is the tractor important on the ranch? 3. What do Missy and her family grow in their garden? Let's Work Together: Together, let's appreciate the hard work that goes into ranch life and learn more about where our food comes from. I Will: I will explore and learn more about different ways of life, like the ranch life, and respect the hard work and dedication it involves. The Importance of Knowing: Understanding ranch life helps us appreciate the effort behind the food we eat and the care for animals, which is essential for our environment and well-being.
