ANALYTICS (MAC) AND MASTER OF BUSINESS TAXATION WITH DATA ANALYTICS (MBT)

The Master of Accounting with Data Analytics (MAC) and Master of Business Taxation with Data Analytics (MBT) are full-time, 30-credit innovative and highly specialized graduate programs designed with direct input from global accounting firms. The programs integrate quantitative applications of data, analytics and technology with advanced accounting and tax topics.

The Master of Accounting with Data Analytics (MAC) integrates data analytics with other essential skills— valuation, risk, tax, fraud, and qualitative skills—to prepare students to become multi-dimensional accountants. The program equips students seeking a career within audit or advisory services, corporate accounting, finance and consulting with the most current skills desired by employers.

The Master of Business Taxation with Data Analytics (MBT) is designed for those seeking a career as a tax professional within the accounting industry, including consulting roles within taxation. The MBT degree integrates advanced coursework in tax and accounting with quantitative applications in modeling, data, analytics and technology. Our graduates start their careers with a skillset and confidence that enables rapid career advancement and long-term success.

ACCELERATED COMPLETION OPTIONS

Certain students, especially those with incoming AP credits, may be eligible to complete their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nearly the same time and cost as a typical undergraduate degree. Connect with Admissions to learn more.

At Villanova, I completed my undergraduate degree in three years and earned my Master of Business Taxation during my fourth year. The MBT program deepened my understanding of tax and data analytics, which not only aided me in completing the CPA exam but also helped me feel more prepared and well equipped to enter the workforce.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

Students who have, or will have, completed an undergraduate degree prior to enrolling are eligible to apply. Applicants must have taken, or have plans to take, the following pre-requisites before the program begins: Intermediate Accounting I and II, Federal Income Tax and Audit . Many students enter the program after completing their undergraduate degree in 3 or 3 ½ years.

TUITION AND SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

• The academic year tuition for the entire program is $48,750.

• Funded scholarships from Deloitte, KPMG and PwC are available. Please contact admissions for more information about eligibility.

• Merit scholarships, fellowships and financial aid are also available.
