Welcome to this year’s production of one of Disney’s most beloved musicals The Little Mermaid. The over seventy-one cast and crew members have been preparing for months and are looking forward to taking you on this magical underwater journey.
The Little Mermaid will be the fourteenth musical production and the sixty-first time that our talented students have performed on this stage since 2006 to the delight of the audiences at each performance.
Get ready to be swept away by the captivating performances, dazzling costumes, creative sets and wonderful music performed by our faculty and alumni orchestra. We are thrilled to share this delightful tale with you. So please sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

Jessica Acocella (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef):
Jessica is very excited to be part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. This is Jessica’s first musical. She is also a part of the VC Junior Choir. She enjoys singing and takes hip hop, jazz and tap classes on the weekend. Jessica loves to be outdoors during any season. Her favourite outdoor activities are swimming in the summer, and skiing and hockey in the winter.
Jeremiah Alfred (Sailor): Jeremiah is excited (and nervous) to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Since Grade 7, he has been a part of Villanova’s choir. In Grade 11 he began participating in the senior band and choir. He has also played basketball and football at VC throughout high school. Did you know that he is double jointed? Jeremiah would like to thank his sister and Ms. Bennett for convincing him to be a part of this production in his final year at Villanova.

Makayla Alfred (Atina/Princess): Makayla is excited to play one of Ariel’s mersisters in Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Though she has sung and been on dance teams multiple times in her life, this is her first musical. When she isn’t in rehearsal she plays basketball, participates in band and sings in choir. Her favorite animal is the raccoon. Makayla would like to thank her best friend Camrynn, and Ms. Kolenko for encouraging her to participate in the musical, as well as Ms. Bennett for helping her grow musically throughout the years.

Fiona Aruldoss (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef):
Fiona is excited to be part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Fiona is 10 years old and in Grade 5. She enjoys singing, painting, dancing, drawing and gymnastics. She has taken hip hop and drama classes. She has also taken singing lessons for more than 2 years. When she is not at musical, she is at piano. Fiona would like to thank her parents and her brother because they motivated her to be part of this musical.
Giulia Battisti (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef): Meet Giulia, a versatile performer with a passion for the arts, from ballet at the age of 4, to hip-hop. In her free time, she harmonizes her love for singing and dancing with that of her skillful guitar playing. She recently immersed herself in the royal tale of SIX: The Musical in the heart of NYC. Her diverse musical tastes shine through with favourites like Taylor Swift, Drake, and The Weeknd. Music is her constant companion. Get ready to witness her talent light up the stage!

Giuliana Bozzi (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef):
Giuliana is excited to be a part of VC’s The Little Mermaid. In her second year at Villanova she decided to try something different through musical to learn new acting skills. She really enjoys music class too. Giuliana’s brother is very excited to see her in the musical. Did you know that she loves pizza? She could eat it every day, but her parents would definitely not allow it! Giuliana spends her spare time writing short stories, swimming, and doing Taekwondo. In the future she hopes to write a novel! Stay tuned!

George Dinan (King Triton/Chef Louis): George is a proud Grade 10 “Knight”, participating in his 5th VC musical. When not on the football field, lifting weights, or on the basketball court, he is all into music at Villanova! Previous musical involvement includes Joseph (Simeon), Fiddler on the Roof Jr., Jesus Christ Superstar, and Seussical. He has also performed at Arts Knight and has been heavily involved with many VC choirs, and CISMF. He wants to thank his music teachers, his brother Liam, his mom who instilled her love of music and theatre in him, and dad who supports all his goals!
Stella Douvis (Dance Captain/Sea Creature/Maid):
Stella is a Grade 7 student who, from the age of 2, has had a love for dance and has been dancing competitively from the age of 6. She was overjoyed to be part of VC’s production of Joseph and is thrilled to be part of musical again. When not rehearsing, she is the Student Council Grade 5 Representative. She is currently working towards her Bronze Medallion and hopes to be a lifeguard. She is grateful to her parents for always encouraging her to never give up and is especially grateful to her younger brother who is her biggest fan.
Teya Falbo (Flounder): Teya is excited to be involved in another VC show, The Little Mermaid 2024. She has been in vocal training for over 10 years and previously performed in Fiddler on the Roof Jr., In the Heights, Beauty and the Beast, & Seussical the Musical. Outside rehearsal, Teya enjoys Jazz Band, Senior Choir, Track and Field, and Ski Club, while playing and coaching tennis outside VC. Teya would like to thank her parents and music teachers for encouraging her to do this production and for their unconditional support during the entire process.

Giada Federico (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid): Giada is excited to be a part of her second performance at Villanova. She began her official arts career at 2 with dance, and at 5 began violin. Now, at 11, she plays 7 instruments! Giada is an active 6th grade student through choir, band, guitar club and musical theatre. She loves to play/sing her original songs, is very interested in science, and hopes to become a singer/songwriter and scientist. Thanks to her family and friends for everything they have taught her and for always loving her, and thanks to all the musical teachers for their hard work.
Erica Georgescu (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid): Erica, Grade 6, has always had a deep love for dance, piano, vocals and drama, and has dreamed of being in musicals. Having previously participated in VC’s production of Joseph, she is now thrilled to be a part of The Little Mermaid. Erica cherishes the camaraderie of working with friends who share her passions and the joy of creating performances that captivate everyone. Beyond the stage, Erica’s interests extend to reading and sports like skiing, hockey and tennis. She is eager to contribute to this new adventure and continuing her journey in the world of musicals.
Amelia Iaboni (Adella/Princess): Amelia is so excited to be a part of the cast of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid as last year she was part of the backstage crew of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Amelia would like to thank her family for always giving her the best advice and pushing her to be the best that she can be. Without their guidance, she would not be where she is today.

Auveed Jamali (Aquata/Princess): Auveed is thrilled to be part of VC’s production of The Little Mermaid. At 5 years old, Auveed started taking piano and swimming lessons. She also starred in the Villanova production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat where she played one of Jacob’s wives. When not at rehearsal she goes to Intermediate Band and works hard on any schoolwork she has. Did you know that Auveed has a fear of clowns? Auveed would like to thank her parents for always supporting her every step of the way, and her best friends for always making her laugh and feel good.
Audrey Jankowski (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid): Audrey is excited to be a part of The Little Mermaid Audrey has always enjoyed singing and the arts. She also participated in VC’s production of Joseph. When not at rehearsal, as a Grade 6 student, she is very involved with the Intermediate Band, Choir, and her favourite club, Sewing Club! Did you know that Audrey lives on a tree farm and has many farm animals including horses? Audrey would like to thank her parents and sisters for always supporting her dreams, and her best friends Vesta and Juliana for always being by her side.
Caitlin Jones (Ariel): Caitlin is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Caitlin started singing back in 5th grade. You may have caught her as a Narrator in VC’s 2023 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat! When she is not rehearsing at VC, you can spot her as Medda Larkin in St. Michael’s College production of Newsies. Big thanks to Tammy Fredrick, her vocal coach for the past 4 years, pushing her to be her best! She thrives on challenges and absolutely lives for the combo of music and stage.

Jacob Jones (Grimsby/Sea Creature): Jacob is extremely excited to be a part of VC’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At 2 years old, Jacob started baseball and fell in love with the game. More recently, Jacob has taken up basketball which has quickly become a passion of his. Jacob also starred as Benjamin in last year’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and played the Elephant Bird in Seussical in 2019. When Jacob is not rehearsing for the musical, you can find him playing trumpet, drums or piano in the music room.


Sia Joshi (Arista/Princess): Sia is ecstatic to be part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At 10 years old, she taught herself the ukelele, and at the age of 11 started competitive dance. This is Sia’s first time doing a musical at Villanova College. She is very determined to excel in all her extracurricular activities. When not at rehearsal she is very involved in her schoolwork and tries her best in every subject. Sia would like to thank her parents for supporting her and her goals.
Emma Kin (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef): Emma is excited to be a part of VC’s The Little Mermaid. At the age of 6, Emma started playing piano and doing gymnastics. Emma was in last year’s production of Joseph. When not at rehearsal, she is either playing basketball or hanging out with her dog, Hazel. Did you know that she started swimming at the age of 2? Emma would like to thank her parents and sister for supporting her. She would also like to thank the teachers that taught her to be the best she can be in the musical.

Joseph Kolb (Sailor): Joseph is very excited to be in the 2024 VC musical cast. At the age of 8 Joseph started playing hockey and baseball and quickly developed an interest in these sports. Since then, Joseph’s interests have turned to football. When not on stage or on the field, Joseph can be found working hard to complete the VC electric car which will be raced at the University of Waterloo Electric Vehicle Challenge this weekend!
Alexander Kourits (Sailor): Alexander is very excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Alexander has played a big role in the arts program at VC since Grade 9. He participated in the Junior, Senior and Jazz Bands throughout his 4 years at Villanova. He was also an integral part of Villanova’s record setting football team. Alexander would like to thank his parents for always supporting him and his friends for telling him to try something out of his comfort zone.
Vesta Landry (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid):
Vesta is very excited to participate in Villanova College’s 2024 musical. She participated in Villanova’s 2023 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Vesta currently takes vocal and piano classes, as well as dance classes. She has always loved music and loves singing along to the radio. When not at school she is in math or art classes. Vesta would like to thank her family for supporting her.

Sophia Margiotta (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef): Sophia loves music and has been singing in choirs for 3 years and dancing for 2.She is a singing and dancing machine! Whether it is cool choir tunes or groovy dance moves, Sophia is all about that stage life. She can hit those high notes like a pro and her dance moves are on point. When not at rehearsal, you can bet Sophia is singing her heart out. Put her on stage, and she’ll bring the music to life with her awesome voice and dance moves. Let’s make some musical magic together!
Thomas McFeeters (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef/ Sailor): Thomas is a sixth grader, and this is his first performance in a Villanova College production. He has previously performed in Mystery Inc. and The Clueville Caper as a minion, and Double Crossbones as a pirate. Thomas enjoys riding his BMX bike, playing hockey, skiing and learning as many new activities as possible including sewing and yo-yo tricks. He thanks everyone on and off the stage for making this such an inclusive and fun experience.

Callia Melfi (Scuttle/Sea Creature): Callia is excited to be a part of Villanova’s The Little Mermaid. From the age of 4 she began musical theatre, vocal, dance, and improv classes. Callia also had starred in many other musicals such as The Lion King (Timon), Mamma Mia (Bill), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Wives/Ensemble). When not at musical, this grade 9 student is involved in SAVI, Arts & Crafts Club and CISMF. One day she hopes to star in a movie. Callia would like to thank her parents and her many friends at VC for supporting her.

Juliana Mikhael (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid):
Juliana is excited to be part of VC’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At 8 years old Juliana began choir with her friends at VC and she also joined the cross-country team. Juliana starred in VC’s 2023 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. As a grade 6 student, Juliana has a passion for singing and dancing. Did you know that Juliana has been in Junior Choir every year she has been at VC?


Yekta Nemati (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef): As a Grade 5 student, Yekta is super excited to be a part of VC’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At the age of 6 she began ballet and tap classes. She also was a part of last year’s show, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. When Yekta is not at rehearsal, she does figure skating. Yekta would like to thank her parents for believing in her, and her sister for being very supportive.
Caterina Ornelas (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid):
Caterina loves the theatre, from learning choreography to singing and making memories with the entire cast. She has been taking singing lessons for many years and is currently a member of the VC Junior Choir. Caterina also plays in the Intermediate Band. She was a member of the cast in last year’s musical, Joseph. Her “Zio”, Gianluca Gurizzan (VC Class of ‘10), is also in this year’s musical, playing in the band. Caterina would like to thank the VC teachers for their leadership and guidance.

Arya Parmar (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid): Arya has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She is a grade 6 student and is incredibly happy that she is in this year's musical The Little Mermaid. She has been in two musicals and many dances. She loved performing in last year's musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (Children’s Chorus). When she was younger, she was in Beauty and the Beast (Belle). She appreciates her family and friends for helping her with her journey and encouraging her.
Lexi Perri (Dance Captain/Sea Creature/Maid):
Lexi is a dancer/actor born and raised in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. She developed a passion for the arts at a very young age. Once she relocated to Toronto she began competitive dance and a career in acting. She has been performing for the Raptors Lil’Ballas since 8 years old, and has won numerous dance awards. She was most recently cast in the closing show of a hip-hop convention in LA. Lexi’s acting credits include The Snoopy Show, Mother of All Shows, and Blue’s Clues. She loves to perform both on stage and behind the scenes doing voice-overs.

Maddie Pupolin (Andrina/Princess): Maddie is excited to play Andrina in VC’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At 6 years old, Maddie was a part of her school play Conjunction Junction which started her passion for the arts. Maddie also starred as one of the brothers in VC’s 2023 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. When not at rehearsals or in grade 8 classes, Maddie is a part of the Intermediate Band, Senior Band, and Senior Choir. Maddie extends a heartfelt thank you to her parents for supporting her and her friends for always coming to all her performances.

Rocco Quinto (Pilot/Sea Creature): Rocco is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Rocco starred in four different productions during elementary school; Mufasa in The Lion King, Augustus Gloop in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Peter Pan in Peter Pan, and Bruno in Encanto. When not at rehearsal, as a grade 9 student Rocco is involved with the VeC team and 3D CAD club. Did you know Rocco loves to build LEGO? Rocco would like to thank his parents for always supporting him and his best friends who are awesome.
Parisa Rasul (Jetsam): Parisa is thrilled to be part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Parisa has had roles in past musicals including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Jr., Alice in Wonderland Jr., and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. As a grade 11 student, she is involved with Senior Jazz and Concert Band, Book Club, Ambassadors, and the DECA Executive Team. She is ardently fond of The Beatles, David Bowie, and Taylor Swift. Parisa expresses her appreciation to Maya, Caitlin, and Alexis for making rehearsals an enjoyable experience and to Eva, for an enduring friendship.
Madison Serjeant (Ursula): Madison is very excited to be part of VC’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. From the young age of 5, Madison has focused on her vocal training. She preformed in VC’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Judah). When she’s not at musical rehearsal, this grade 9 student is involved with multiple other musical programs, such as Jazz Band and Senior Choir. Madison would like to thank her family for always encouraging her, all her friends, especially her best friend Laura for always supporting her and her vocal coach for always helping her out.

Leah Stone (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid): Leah is excited to be involved in The Little Mermaid. She has never been in a musical before, but she has been in school plays. Leah has been a member of the crosscountry team for the last 2 years and she was also on the track and field team. She knows what it’s like to be on stage because she was in the Beginner Band last year and is now in the Intermediate Band. Leah spends pretty much all summer at her cottage in the water. She and her aunts go for ice cream every Thursday!


Sloane Thompson (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef): Sloane, grade 5, is thrilled to be back on stage and part of The Little Mermaid as it is one of her favourite productions. Sloane was recently in NYC and saw the musical performance SIX, which was an unforgettable experience. She enjoys singing, playing piano, guitar and flute. She started learning to play the piano at age 3.5 and spent several years in dance. She is also an avid swimmer and a black belt in karate. When she grows up, Sloane aspires to be a singer and songwriter.
Tennyson Tobin (Sailor): Tennyson is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Tennyson made his first Villanova Arts appearance in grade 6 as a soloist in the Middle School Boys Choir. Outside of rehearsal, as a senior athlete, Tennyson is hard at work perfecting his game as a member of both the football and track and field teams. Tennyson would like to thank his parents for their continuous support.

Valeria Tracanelli (Flotsam): Valeria is very excited to play Flotsam in Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. She also starred in VC’s 2023 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She has been in vocal lessons since she was 8, loves to play the guitar and is learning the piano. Valeria would like to thank her friends for always supporting her and her parents for encouraging her to explore her love of music.


Alexis Ulahannan (Alanna/Princess): Alexis is very happy to be on stage in this year’s production of The Little Mermaid after being part of the backstage crew for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. She is a grade 11 student who plays on the varsity basketball team and is a Student Ambassador. She loves spending time with her family and watching TV. She would like to thank her parents for pushing her to take this role in the musical.
Sarah Vayalumkal (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Chef):
Sarah is looking forward to performing in Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. She had so much fun in last year’s rendition of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. She has taken piano and vocal lessons since a young age. She is currently in grade 5 and acts as the grade 5 choir rep. Did you know Sarah acted in a movie called The Kalari Kid made by her cousins? Sarah would like to thank her family, especially her grandparents, for supporting her talents.

Max Vialykh-Patti (Sailor): Max is very excited to be in The Little Mermaid as a sailor. He has been in 2 productions previously at VC– Fiddler on the Roof Jr. and Jesus Christ Superstar. Max is currently in Grade 11 and enjoys his time hanging out with friends. He also plays football and looks to continue playing at the university level. Max would like to thank the music teachers at VC for asking him to be a late addition to the show. He would also like to thank his parents and family.
Aidan Vissers (Prince Eric): Aidan is thrilled to be in Villanova’s production of The Little Mermaid as Prince Eric! You might recognize Aidan from last year’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and he could not be happier to be back! Aidan is a grade 11 student involved in VC’s music program and in public speaking & debate, so don’t cross him just kidding! He hopes that you thoroughly enjoy the show! He also thanks his parents for their continued support of his love of performance and for putting up with him whistling these songs continually over the past few months.
Maya Wigglesworth (Sebastian): Maya is thrilled to be a part of her second Villanova College theatre production, The Little Mermaid! Since she was five years old, Maya has been a part of many other musical theatre productions outside of school, including School of Rock and The Lion King. As a very busy Grade 11 student at VC, Maya is a part of many extracurriculars, including Knights Council, Debate, and Mass Choir. Maya would like to thank the cast, crew, and band for putting together an amazing show, her parents for believing in her and her best friend, Sydney, for always supporting her.

Chiara Wong (Ensemble/Sea Creature/Maid): Chiara was in last year’s musical and she had lots of fun being part of the team. Chiara is very excited to be part of The Little Mermaid. When Chiara is not in rehearsals, she likes to play the piano, go swimming, dancing, skiing and play tennis. She is grateful to her friends, Erica, Caterina, Juliana, Audrey, Vesta and Arya, for encouraging her to try this activity and find a new passion for musical theatre.

Michela Anania (Hair/Makeup Assistant): Michela is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At 3 years old, she began piano and dance lessons. When not involved with musicals, she is very involved with sport and social outreach teams. Fun fact: she was The Baker in Into the Woods at the age of 7! With her busy schedule, she was unable to be a part of the production on stage but her love for hair and makeup compelled her to help for the musical! Michela thanks her parents for sending her to VC!
Olivia Barichello (Set Design Assistant): Olivia is thrilled to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At an incredibly young age she began doing gymnastics and finding her love of art. She is in 7th grade, and she used to be in Art Club. A fun fact about her is that she has been doing gymnastics since she was 5 years old.

Michela Bartucci (Tech Crew Lead): Michela is thrilled to be a part of Villanova’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. As a Grade 11 student, she is busy with both Jazz Band and Senior Concert Band. She is also a member of VC’s swim team last year’s OFSAA champions. When not at school, Michela can be found watching Formula 1 or taking spontaneous trips to St. Louis, Missouri. Michela wants to thank her Nanna Theresa for inspiring her love for musical theatre and taking her to shows!

Chloe Coppola (Set Design Assistant/Hair/ Makeup): For her first show, Chloe is excited to be a part of the 2024 musical production The Little Mermaid. From helping with set design, to doing hair and makeup, Chloe wants to make sure everything will run smoothly. When she is not backstage, she is either practicing makeup or dancing. Chloe is enthusiastic when it comes to this year’s 2024 musical production and can’t wait for the show to begin.
Tymon Cui (Design Assistant/Tech Crew): Tymon is proud to be a part of The Little Mermaid production. He has various involvements in VC’s Music Department, including the Senior Concert Band, Jazz Band, and founding the VC String Quartet. In his last year at Villanova, Tymon would like to thank all the teachers in the music department for their hard work in making this year fantastic, and wish good luck to Madison, Aidan, and all the other talented crew members.

Evan Domingues (Set Design Assistant): Evan is ecstatic to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Despite having little experience in making sets, Evan has seen many musicals in the past 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed VC’s 2023 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Evan has also made a commitment to his studies and VC’s Writing Club in his Grade 11 year. Evan’s fascination with musicals leads him to do his part to make Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid the best it could possibly be.

Jack Domingues (Set Design Assistant/Tech Crew): Jack is enthusiastic to be working on Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Jack has always been known in his family as “the mover” because he helped his family move no matter how long or how heavy the work was. He has also spent plenty of time working at his interests at VC, particularly with SAVI, Writing Club, Trivia Club, football, and as Nicholas House Co-captain.
David Fulsang (Tech Crew Lead): For his third and final show, David is excited to be part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. In Grade 7 he loved being part of the backstage crew in Seussical. After the COVID hiatus, he was eager to return backstage, but this time, in the lighting booth for the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ensuring that the cast shone. Returning to the wings of the stage for the last time, David is so thankful for all the memories he has made while being part of stage crew.

Eva Graf (Tech Crew): Eva is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s production of The Little Mermaid. This is her second show backstage with VC. She was a part of last year’s backstage crew for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. She is a Grade 11 student with a passion for reading and writing. Eva would like to thank her parents for supporting her, and her best friends for always being amazing.

Vivianna Grande (Set Design Lead): Vivianna is excited to be part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid as Set Design Lead. She previously helped with VC’s production of Joseph and is always eager to help with arts and crafts around the school. When not involved in the musical, she puts her efforts toward her studies as a Grade 11 STEM student and participates in programs like Art Club, and KAIROS. Shout-outs go to her parents, sister and 3 cats!


Serena Graziosi (Costume Assistant): Serena is very excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. She has been dancing at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts since she was 3 years old! This is her second time in this role for one of VC’s musicals. Last year she had a wonderful time assisting in the production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. As a Grade 12 student, this will be her last time participating in a Villanova show. She will miss it dearly.
Julianna Grignano (Hair/Makeup): Julianna is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid as a hair and makeup artist for her final year at Villanova. Julianna’s love of hair, makeup and fashion stemmed from watching Project Runway, Glow Up and Skin Wars on Netflix. As a Grade 12 student, Julianna is involved in many extracurriculars including soccer, the Leadership Class, and Senior Concert band. Finally, she would like to thank Ms. Kolenko for encouraging her to participate in the musical and Mr. Jones for nurturing her love for music.

Bianca He (Set Design Assistant): Bianca is very delighted to be able to take part in Villanova’s 2024 musical The Little Mermaid. She has been training in dance for years and has been studying art for 5 years. Outside of school, this 6th grader participates in swimming, volleyball, and golf. Did you know that she is allergic to dogs, but still owns one? Bianca is thankful to her parents, who support her in her art and athletic activities. She also wants to thank her best friend Vivian for working through the hard work with the musical set with her.
Siena Ierullo (Hair/Makeup): Siena is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At 4 years old, she fostered her passion for musical arts through learning how to play the piano. She also plays the trumpet and guitar and has been a part of many musical productions outside of Villanova in the past. When Siena isn’t immersed in music, you’ll likely find her on the soccer field, showcasing her skills and love for the game.

Chloe Kin (Set Design Assistant): Chloe is excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. This is her first time helping with the production of a musical as she previously performed on stage. Outside of the musical, she is a Grade 9 student who volunteers at Chess Club, is a member of the Writing Club and part of the basketball team. In Chloe’s free time, her favourite hobby is reading. She would like to thank her friends, and her parents for always being supportive and helpful.

Nariah Lyn (Set Design Assistant): Nariah is proud to assist with Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Nariah has been previously involved with musicals outside of school, as a new student at Villanova in Grade 9, Nariah was eager to learn what it was like to not be on stage, but to help in the background.
Julianna Macri (Set Design Assistant): After seeing VC’s Joseph, Julianna was excited for this year’s musical. Ever since she was 5, Julianna has loved art and writing. She started taking art lessons at 8 years old and looks up to pop culture artists. After school, this Grade 9 student can be found at Writing Club or attending DECA meetings. Did you know that she has a CD collection of 80s musicians? Julianna would like to thank her parents for always motivating her passion for art, and her friends Arianna, Chloe and Nariah for always encouraging her to get out of her comfort zone.

Alpana Mainkar-Fournier (Follow Spot): Alpana is very excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Although Alpana does not have any experience in theater she is very involved in other clubs offered at VC. She is part of the Jazz Band and Senior Concert Band. She has been a part of VC swim and field hockey teams. She was also part of CISMF for choir in Grade 9. Did you know Alpana is a black belt in martial arts? Alpana would like to thank her family for supporting her and all her decisions.

Vismay Mainkar-Fournier (Tech Crew): Vismay is excited to participate in Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. This is Vismay’s third VC musical production and second as part of the tech crew. Vismay was involved with the 2023 Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as the Follow Spot. As a Grade 12 student, he is also part of the badminton team. Vismay has achieved a black belt (first degree) and has been training since the age of 6. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support.


Siena Mauti (Hair/Makeup): Siena is extremely thrilled to be working behind the scenes on this year’s production. Siena has always been very passionate about hair and makeup as she is a dancer who experimented with different products. She is very excited to help transform actors with her skills. Siena has been part of the basketball, volleyball and soccer teams and is ready to try something new. Did you know that she started dancing at 4? Siena would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting and encouraging her to try new things!
Karen Nguyen (Costume Alterations): Karen is very excited to be a part of Villanova College’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. At a young age, she began dancing and later, moved onto competitive. When not involved with musical, as a Grade 11 student, she is involved with SAVI, Arts and Crafts Club and more. Did you know Karen’s favorite animal is a duck? Karen would like to thank her parents for always being there for her and her friends for always supporting her.

Last year, Neha also assisted backstage for VC’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. When she is not involved with the musical, as a Grade 11 student, she loves to hang out with her friends. Neha would like to thank her parents for always supporting her dreams, and everyone around her for always putting a smile on her face.
Andres Ramirez Cabezas (Set Design Lead): Andres is happy to be part of The Little Mermaid. At 5 he began playing the piano and at 9, began pursuing a career in the arts. Andres also assisted with set design for Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. When not involved in the musical, Andres is involved in Jazz Band, the VC String Quartet, the Villanova Electric Car Team, Book Club and SAVI. A fun fact about Andres is that he cannot sing if his life depended on it. Andres would like to thank his many family members, friends and dog Malibu for always supporting his hobbies and passions.
Téa Sarra (Hair/Makeup/Costumes): Téa is thrilled to be participating in VC’s production of The Little Mermaid for the first time behind the curtain this year! Since Grade 4, Téa has starred in numerous VC productions, including Fiddler on the Roof Jr., Jesus Christ Superstar, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Téa is busier than ever this year as a member of the Grade 12 Leadership Class and as the Knights Council President, so she is ecstatic to be taking on a smaller role backstage. Téa would like to thank all music teachers at VC for supporting her over the years!

Daniel Skarzhevskyy (Follow Spot): For his first show at Villanova, Daniel is very excited to be part of the tech crew for The Little Mermaid. For a few years now, Daniel has been working with various lighting technology, through his Christmas light show and working with theatrical lighting at his previous school. Daniel enjoys playing guitar and is hoping to join Jazz Band next year. Shout out to Mr. Kassouf (his former science teacher) for trusting him with thousands of dollars’ worth of lights at the plays.
Arianna Zemp (Set Design Assistant): Arianna is excited to be a part of the backstage crew for VC’s 2024 production of The Little Mermaid. Arianna is currently a Grade 9 student and has been at the school since Grade 4. She is involved in Villanova College’s swim team, Writing Club, Senior Concert Band and DECA. Did you know she has been on the Villanova College swim team since Grade 4? Arianna would like to thank her parents for always being there and thanks to her friends too.

Vivian Zhang (Set Design Assistant): Vivian is happy to be a part of The Little Mermaid. At the age of 2.5, Vivian started her journey into art. Her dream is to become an artist and manga creator. Her hobbies are drawing, playing piano and figure skating. Vivian takes advantage of every opportunity she can get in art knowing that each will bring her one step closer to her dreams. Thanks to her parents, her supportive and caring friends, Cindy Wen and Bianca He.
