Owners of popular Maywood business looking to sell

Joe and Theresa Wilson, the beloved
owners of T&JJ Supreme Steaks and Catering Services, 718 S. 5th Ave. in Maywood, stood in a hallway inside of their facility on Oct. 9 to take stock of its history. The couple, married nearly 20 years ago, had their wedding reception in the banquet hall. Familiar faces, some famous locally and internationally, have cycled through these doors. “We’ve got pictures of Jerry Butler, Adele Givens, Eugene Moore, Sam Chatman,”
Theresa said. “We’ve had a lot of people come through. It’s a wall of fame.” T&JJ’s has been a Maywood culinary and entertainment institution for 30 years (for their first 10 years, they were housed in another location), but that run may be ending soon — or at least in its current form.
