CAROCHOS ILLUSTRATION FOR AN ARTICLE

CONCEPT BRIEFING WORDS This artwork was design to illustrate the article regarding the change of clothes of the gypsy character in the historical rite of the Carochos in Riofrio de Aliste for the magazine LOS CAROCHOS in a colaboration with the cultural association Amanecer de Aliste.

The text article describes how the actor performing as the gypsy in the morning will cover themself with a staw cape to dance later in the day.

This way I pictured the scene through a dance betweem them.

The gypsy, who is also a weaver according to the tradition, plays the role of the puppetee of the stawman being both of them connected by the threads.

For this project we were asked to This piece is not only meant to admicreate an illustration under the slogan re the beuty in the simple life of a se“with our eldery” to go along with the nior citizen but to also revindicate the 2024 calendar for the Neighborhood absence of green spaces in a district Association of Rondilla. where overpopulation forces people to live pilled up in small poorly flats The three characters are shown dudamaging their quality of life. ring their daily routines: smoking, gardering or cooking for their grandkids. Each of them had created their own “happy space” in their balcony despite the lack of space.

ILLUSTRATIONS FOR A CALCULATOR BRIEFING

This project begun as a tribute to the spanish scientist Margarita Salas. The poster intended to portray her as a strong woman who made big contributions not only to science but to the feminism movement as well.

Soon after, the design was adapt to fit the cover of the fx - 991SP CW model of calculators, along with the packaging and nine more illustrations for the website.

THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIEVE BOOK ILLUSTATION

CONCEPT BRIEFING A compilation of artworks following universe of the epic fantasy novels WORDS the written by Brandon Sanderson “The Stormlight Archieve”

FANTASY In the following pages there is a toWORLDBUILDING tal of three full rendered illustrations recreating specific fragments of the MAGIC books “The Way of Kings” (images SUPERNATURAL 1 and 2) and “Dawnshard” (image 3) along with two more artworks of the CONCEPT ART main characters in the saga.

THE SANTHID “It is beautiful, in a knotted, grey-blue mass sort of way beneath its shell. It seems ponderous, yet majestic, with mighty fins, and has two enormous eyes, one on each side of its head, surrounded by ancient-looking folds.”

“Santhids are marine creatures found in the seas around Roshar. They are extremely rare, and not much is known about them.

Because of this, they are considered to be a sign of good luck among sailors.”

WINDRUNNERS “Lopen increased his speed with a Throw, rising a couple of feet above people’s heads in the aisle. Some of them shrank with surprised expressions. Rua transformed into one of his favorite forms, a flying chull with wide wings, and approached Lopen”

Veil is Shallan`s alterego. With the help of magic she creates a cover over her body, changing her phisical appeareance and as a result allowing herself to be a diferent person.

With this disguise Shallan, now Veil, shows herself as a matured , brave, determined and experienced woman of the underworld.

She takes charge of the dangerous tasks like spying and dealing with the mafia

SHALLAN The smallest of a turbulent noble family, Shallan throws herself into the unknow of the world outside the walls of her house in an attempt to save her brotrers from the bankrupt after her father´s death put a huge debt over them.

Shallan always stood out for her intelligent, her sharp tongue, her stubbornness and most important, her excptional art talent. Her strong personality hides behind the image of a naive young lady.
