York Minster is one of the biggest medieval churches in Europe. Bristol Cathedral is a historical and famous Cathedral in the united kingdom. Both chapter rooms of Bristol Cathedral and York Minster are quite magnificent and designed in Gothic style.
However, by comparison with York Minster, Bristol Cathedral was quite dark inside.

Life is Circuitous
This is Casa Batllò which was designed by Antonio Gaudí. The photos show the details of the Casa Batlló. The sketches are the roof of Casa Batlló and the façade of it. The inspiration of the design was came from different animals and ocean. There is probably no better illustrates the Modernism in his work.
Life is Creative
This is group project with other two classmates. This bridge is called plesiosaurus. Thus, the shape of bridge was based on this dinosaur.In addition, this bridge is suppose for fun or decoration.

Life is Beautiful
Relief design is for understanding lights and shadows in three dimensional vision. This relief is based on the butterfly. The patterns on the wings which revealed the beauty of a butterfly and circles were stick into different layers to show the body.Butterflies are the symbol of beauty. While circles are the sign of Geometric Aesthetics, hence I designed many circles.
Cube design is for creating three dimensional vision and understanding space by showing lights and shadows.
This cube is a imaginative house. Different length and width of cubes were stick into layers to create a space. The side of the cube shows the windows of house.
Life is imaginative
In contrast to the right-corner sketch,the sketch next to it which was designed in western style.
The Chinese traditional buildings are mostly made by wood within post-and-lintel construction and column and tie construction. The small temple is for people to relax and it is common in China.
House create home, home create life. This is a semi-detached house which is a typical British house. I visit a friend of my mum’s house is located in Bristol. I will not show the photos as the privacy concerned. Semi-detached house is basically separate a one big detached into two residents.In addition, it normally has three floors and garden as well. My favourite part of this semi-detached house is the sun house. In the middle,there is a drawing with colour is my designing house. Furthermore, the sketch which is below the drawing is my sketch of a detached house.
The sketch of the street was in Shanghai. However, it was replaced by modern buildings. The another sketch is my imagination street. Part of the buildings are in the water. The photos on the right side were taken in London. They are the combination of modernism and classic. It illustrated the changing of city and people’s life which is obviously getting better. However, in my opinion, the buildings and streets may be destroyed in the future as there are some natural problem such as sea level and the old buildings may be replaced by modern buildings. Venice may disappear in several decades later, yet, if we do not protect the place where we live, there will be more and more ‘Venice’ in the future.
It Is a New Life
a High-rise building established as the population explosion,people need more space to live. Most cities are full of high-rise building and start from high-rise building to the skyscraper. The first high-rise buildings were constructed in the United States in the 1880s. The principal means of vertical transport in a high-rise is the elevator. It is moved by an electric motor that raises or lowers the cab in a vertical shaft by means of wire ropes.
