The Land of Eternal Youth

Once upon a time, lots of years ago, Gods decided to send people a trial to check their faith. On mountain Olympos lived a dragon which gave birth to three eggs. Gods stole one of them and hided it in the forest, hoping that people would find it.

The same day 25 students had gone camping on the woods. Children were curious, they wanted to explore the area and soon they found the egg.

So, excited were the students that they decided to bring the egg in the class. During the lesson of Biology, they put the egg on the table and they started to investigate it. It was really big and weird. Its color was purple with red spots. They had never seen such a thing before. It could have been neither a chick egg, nor a swan egg‌ But while they were looking at it, they noticed that the egg had started to move! It turned around and soon it broke.

Students couldn’t believe it! There was a small dragon.

Oh, the little dragon had been so cute! It was growing up together with students and it was so famous that it attracted everyone’s attention. Soon, students realized that the little dragon had magic power. It could fulfill all kind of wishes. One day a student wished he had a chocolate and at once the little dragon clapped his hand and a fountain with melting chocolate appeared in the garden!

However, something had changed in the school. Students became mean, they didn’t respect each other, they were naughty and the teacher was so disappointed. The teacher couldn’t explain students’ behavior. They had everything but they were never satisfied. So, she decided to visit the Wise man and ask what was wrong with her students.

The wizard advised the teacher to tell the children that they did not have the sunny glow and strength of the wind yet.

When the teacher repeated the wise man’s words to the children, the children wanted both of these things and ran to the dragon.

The dragon clapped his hands but ... nothing happened. He clapped many times, until resigned he said he could not fulfill this wish and sadly flew away towards the setting sun.

The children were very disappointed. The more they thought about it, the more they wanted to have something as extraordinary as the sunshine and the power of the wind. The whole class went to the wiseman and asked what could be done to get the power of the wind and the sunshine.

The wiseman smiled and replied: -You have to find your friend dragon and apologize to him.

The children set off in search. They asked various people on the way if they saw the dragon.

Finally, one wanderer said he saw a dragon flying into the cave over the abyss.

To go through the abyss you had to build a bridge. At the beginning, each of the children tried to build their bridge and compete with the others. However, no one succeeded.

In the end, the children stopped arguing and began to cooperate with each other.

They built a beautiful and rugged bridge, after which they passed to the other side of the chasm.

The children ran to the dragon and apologized for their behavior. They also apologized to their teacher.

And then something extraordinary happened: The children’s eyes were shining like the sunshine because of happiness and they could all feel the power of the wind in the way they achieved everything through collaboration!

Everyone lived happily ever after, and the gods were proud of people.
