Home is more than just a place to live. At Veterans Community Project (VCP), we believe in the transformative power of community. Our mission is simple—give Veterans the strength and support they deserve, helping them transition into permanent housing and self-sufficiency. Founded in 2016 by combat Veterans in Kansas City, Missouri, VCP was created to fill the gaps left by a broken system. Too many of our brothers and sisters have been left behind, but we are here to change that.

At the heart of VCP is our Village—a safe, supportive environment where Veterans begin their journey toward permanent housing. As VCP’s first expansion site, Longmont has already made a lasting impact. Since opening in 2020, we have helped hundreds of Veterans find not just a roof over their heads but also the resources and guidance they need to rebuild their lives.
In 2023, four Veterans entered our Village, working with dedicated Case Managers to overcome barriers to long-term stability. By 2025, with the unwavering support of our community, we will complete construction on the remaining homes in our 26-unit Village. Over the next year, we will welcome 15-20 more Veterans into this transformative space, offering them not just a home but the promise of a brighter future.
Beyond the Village, Outreach services remain a vital part of our mission. From assisting with military paperwork to providing emergency food and financial aid, VCP of Longmont is committed to ensuring no Veteran falls through the cracks while awaiting permanent housing.
You play a key role in allowing us to respond quickly and effectively to community needs. We believe in building meaningful partnerships that connect businesses and individuals to causes that matter, creating valuable opportunities for engagement and support.
We are deeply grateful to our partners, volunteers, and donors who make this work possible. There are countless ways to get involved—whether by supporting our daily operations or helping us raise critical funds through our annual signature event. Your involvement moves our mission forward. Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our incredible community.
3 Veterans were welcomed into our VCP Village, where they will continue to work diligently with their case managers to overcome barriers so they can achieve permanent housing.
85% successful transition rate was achieved in 2024 for Veterans.
266 unique Veterans were served through our Outreach Center.
$107,125 in emergency assistance funds were provided by the community.
Last October, you dusted off your boots and gathered for a night of great brews, live music, and community at Boots, Beers, and Bales, presented by Veterans Community Project of Longmont and hosted by Left Hand Brewing. Thanks to the generosity you and our community, we raised $70,000, directly fueling our mission to provide housing and support for Veterans in need here in Northern Colorado.
Every ticket sold helped make a real difference—ensuring more Veterans found stability, resources, and a path forward. As we look ahead, we remain committed to serving those who served us. Thank you for being part of this incredible night and for standing with our Veterans. We hope to see you this year for our 5th Annual Fall Fundrasier: the House Party!
Join us for an evening in celebration of Veterans and the incredible community that stands beside them. There’s no event quite like this one.
