RATING LABEL EU

The rating label is made by the supplier of the product. All rating labels must be approved by NINE UNITED SCANDINAVIA A/S.

The various componets on the rating label must be according to regulations.

TEXT ON THE RATING LABEL

Must always include:

• Name. Adress.

• Model no. (see our purchase)

• Type no. (excl. LED products)

PACKAGING AND LABEL FOR BATTERIES

MARKING REQUIREMENTS ON BATTERIES

All batteries and/or accumulators must be labelled with the crossed-out wheely bin and the TRIMAN information (read more about Triman here ).

All batteries and/or accumulators must be labelled with a capacity label as the following:

• If the capacity is expressed in “mAh” as an integer

• If the capacity is expressed in “Ah” as a decimal number with one digit

• With a level of accuracy required by standards IEC 61951-1, IEC 61951-2, IEC 60622, and IEC 61960 respectively.

NOTE! The symbols shall be printed visibly, legibly and indelibly.

PACKAGING

LAYOUT

The die cut is send to N.U.S who makes a print-ready file.

CARTON CLOSURE

Whenever possible the box must be with a lid-closure - where no tape is needed.

Use H-closure only when the lamp is too heavy. The usage of a H-closure box can be accepted. Click here

Large boxes must be made with H-closure with transparent tape. Click here

COMPLIANCE

The packaging used must comply with the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive. This includes Directive 94/62/EC, as amended by Directive 2018/852/EU. The legislation can be found here

As per article 11 of the EU packaging Directive, the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium must not exceed 100 ppm in the packaging and packaging components.

TAPE

When using tape, always use transparent tape. Click here illustrates how to tape the packaging. Avoid using tape inside the box.

N.U.S makes assembly instructions printready. Supplier provides A.I. drawings.

The layout has a blue front- and back side, and it must have no white edges when it is printed. The blue colour must go to the edges.

All Frandsen AI are printed as an A5 booklet

The assembly instructions must be printed on 100 g matt white FSC approved paper. Printed on a folded A4 paper making it an A5 booklet. FSC approved paper.

On the backside we need the suppliers FSC logo - it is marked where it must be placed (Important that the FSC logo is turned into white, with transparent background - supplier must get this new white FSC logo approved one time by the FSC department before print).

Every single item that is used in the packaging of a product must be marked with the EMEA logo to the right.

EMEA ON INNER BOX (PRODUCT BOX)

Only the box with the product (inner box) that ends at the consumer must be marked with EMEA logo with description.

The EMEA logo must be placed to the right of the Triman logo in the bottom of the box. See example 1 click here

EMEA SMALL LOGO

Every single carton, paper, plastic etc. in the box that can be seperated completely and safely, must be marked with the small EMEA logo without description.

In the triangle in the logo there must be a specific code. To the right you can see the different codes and material info.

TRIMAN LOGO (FRANCE)

Triman logos

The Triman logo must be on all packaging except Private Label Heals, for England.

The Triman logo must be placed under the bottom of the cardboard box to the right of the FSC logo.

Please note that there are several different Triman logos, as they must describe what the packaging include.

Note: the assembly instuction is not a part of the packaging material, so it must not be included in the Triman logo.

Packaging supplier

The supplier is responsible for adding their own FSC logo with correct code for the packaging at the bottom of the box.

On boxes the logo must be black.

In generel it must be the vertical FSC logo, that is used.

In matters where it cannot be used, because of size, it is acceptable with the horizontal FSC logo.
