2023 - final career project Chivilcoy, Bs. As. MV Brula
It’s impossible to envision a city of the future without grasping the significance of agroecology and the involvement of an active community. The Center itself, through its program, addresses social issues alongside research, education, and culture.
The project aims to be a landmark of innovation and a benchmark for how to embrace a green, healthy, and balanced future, designed around 4 key concepts.
Considering its location at the boundary between countryside and city, and its immediate surroundings of large facilities, the project is situated towards the corner, revitalizing the axis through a park and the program itself. Creating a better social context with greater respect for the planet.
Derived from critical thinking involving the 5th facade in the design process, the project is resolved on a single level under a large roof that contains various types of horizontal enclosures within its thickness, featuring diverse sustainable programs and additions of experimentation or technological innovation.
From the project’s interior with patios illuminating and ventilating the deep floor plan, to its facade with green panels fed from the roof with rainwater collection, and finally to the exterior, understanding the heights and sizes of vegetation and crops that increase in scale closer to the building.
Starting from the comprehensive material solution, with locally sourced metal and considering all possibilities of energy utilization (from built architecture to specific machinery), the building is erected with respect for nature, the environment, and the planet.

Luján, Bs. As. Á Gutiérrez-RM Benaducci-MV Brula
On a unique site facing a linear park along the banks of the Luján river, this complex of 200 residences, featuring coworking spaces and commercial fronts, stands centered around the patio as a space organizer. Vegetation permeates the architecture, CLT wood structure extends nature into the city, and communal living is emphasized through collective exchange spaces.
Understood at a collective scale as access, ventilation, and the potential for lush vegetation. And at a private scale, as a crucial expansion for all units. The 4.25m CLT module guides the arrangement of residences, creating setbacks for patios and optimizing orientations.
On lower levels, a double module accommodates offices and gastronomic spaces with ample light and flexibility. The mezzanine connects residences accessed from commercial premises. Beyond +6.00m, the module unfolds, creating various ‘industrialized’ housing typologies. The variability in entrances and interspersed levels allows for enriched outdoor circulation and expansions always oriented towards the north, east, and west, relegating the south solely for ventilation of secondary spaces.

2021 - mid-career jury
Mataderos, CABA
Regina Benaducci-Verónica Brula
The project addresses the lack of green spaces in the neighborhood and explores the concept of ‘hybrid.’ Referencing the binary situation of analog vs. digital books and the broader scale it should address as a contemporary institution. The project reflects on its approach: the library as a social, multidisciplinary gathering point and community generator.
Beneath a green lung, the semi-buried ground floor separates from the reading room, housing dynamic programs and spaces. This broadens the range of public use and visits. Additionally, a semi-private courtyard is incorporated as an extension of the distribution hall, resolved with transparencies and wood, foreshadowing the materiality of the upper level.
An elevated and ethereal volume responds proposed reading room. Positioned on a with post-tensioned beams, it stands out its facade with a u-glass envelope. This creates outward, with diffuse light and blurred views
responds to the tranquility of the a mezzanine as a transition structure out from the local architecture, covering creates a language of a public building views inward.
The accessible roof, conceived as an extension of the reading room, is resolved with a lightweight metal structure, dry and green flooring, a small covered entrance volume, and suitable furniture. In this way, it seeks to restore the green lung, returning outdoor spaces with vegetation presence to the neighborhood.
2020 - A2 Matanza, Bs. As. M Reidman-MV Brula
A social and green lung at the heart of the project is stitched together by the modular metal structure and the circulation routes of 24 housing units. This expands the perimeter and horizon view.
A project where collective furniture and vegetation merge, creating spaces for pause and gathering, always accompanied by functional and aesthetic comfort.
The context of the pandemic directs attention to three key aspects guiding the project. Vegetation and nature are ever-present, in both open vistas and small details. Intermediate social spaces serve as transition areas or circulation paths with proportions conducive to outdoor exchange and community interaction.
Thirdly, the housing itself is emphasized, recognizing the mandatory spatial quality and the importance of flexibility. This results in units spanning two levels, with double heights, ample expansions, and adaptable enclosures, facilitating the evolution of family groups and their needs over time, both across years and within a single day
- A1 CABA, Bs. As. J Fallabela-MV Brula
The project is implemented as an urban landmark, considering crucial aspects such as the flow of people in the neighborhood, the activation of a corner in a large-scale property, the configuration of a meeting and distribution point, allowing both free circulation and the possibility of staying and engaging in activities: a comprehensive and functional design.
The strategic choice of the corner is based on housing a market that conveys a tranquil and neighborhood atmosphere, while also serving as a meeting point, standing out as a visual landmark. In relation to the proximity to Gral. Paz, with the presence of users in transit, the creation of pathways around a green park is encouraged, promoting free circulation and interaction with the project.
The integration with the surroundings focuses on not obstructing circulation but facilitating and enriching it. The project’s structure
minimizes supports, allowing a 360° visible and inhabitable space from all perspectives. The circular shape is adopted to achieve this panoramic view, inclining towards the park with an amphitheater on a slope. This feeling of weightlessness is reinforced by the differentiation between the tectonic support displaced from the center and the stereotomic cover separated by a light from the partitions. The architectural proposal is configured as a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and harmonization with the urban environment.
