HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! A POEM BY CHEF MICHAEL RICHARDSON:

For the most part they look forward to the possibility of love, but let us look back first. Today I have the opportunity to see the evolution of my past to present. I now write to you from the dining room table that I did my homework on in high school. I’ve spent days ubering around Los Angeles. I see the bushes, now trimmed and orderly, that myself and Bobby Brown fumbled together our first joint in our cave of bushes. The spot where black market manilla envelope of Panama red made you feel like a cold war spy. Now running trails for dot coms. My home for

the last 20 years has been Las Vegas. Of my travels around the diversity of my city, represents the world we are racing toward. All the signs are blaring, Las Vegas is the arrowhead of the west, with Los Angeles and San Fran the wings of the arrowhead. Let us revel in the quiet before the storm. Then dig in, steady the boat, the big one is coming. Warp drive Mr. Sulu! The evolution of our city puts me in mind set of a special flower about to bloom. THE SILVER RED ROSE

Silver and red, a rose sits alone in the desert, the path to her a great many have trodden.

They stare and wish maybe to touch with a finger, but there’s something about her that makes them afraid to linger. Her petals are as deep red as the love she saves for them. Who can love who aren't afraid for them alone this special rose was made. Caress not pull. Nurture not drain. Yet another one walks down the path in vain. Like the dew on her petals in the first morning sun, so stream the tears all gone, all are done. Our time is now, Happy Valentines Day.

Wookie Butter Banana Caramel CANNABUTTER INGREDIENTS:

½ lb of butter 2-3g Wookie Flower (decarbed 3o minutes at 250 degrees) DIRECTIONS:

Stove top cannabutter recipe was used: Bring about 4 cups of water to a boil and add butter. Lower to simmer, add decarbed flower,

simmer for half an hour and strain. Cool overnight and skim off butter. CARAMEL INGREDIENTS:

1 Cup dark brown sugar ½ Cup heavy whipping cream 4oz. Wookie butter CARAMEL DIRECTIONS:

Bring to a boil, simmer for 5 min. then cool Table side /Adult Version: In a saucepan melt 4oz. Wookie Butter, add 1 cup Dark brown sugar, (citrus zest is added), After liquid boils add ½ oz. banana liqueur, spiced rum and/or 151 & sliced banana. Ignite with stick lighter or tilt boiling liquid toward flame (we use butane burners) The alcohol will burn off in a few seconds, then add a touch of cream and pour over ice cream or as we do over Baked Alaska.
