Completion of Associate of Arts, Associate of Arts & Sciences, Associate of Science, or Associate of Fine Arts waive VCU General Education requirements
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2 5
Over 40 credits of OPEN electives to maximize your transfer courses

Meet with your community college advisor to plan your associate degree courses and enroll in required coursework and General Education requirements Utilize tutoring resources, and explore financial aid options, ensuring your FAFSA or VASA is submitted on time
YEAR 2: EXPERIENCE
Meet with your advisor to finalize your associate degree plans. Submit a transcript review request with the VCU School of Education, research scholarships, check eligibility or the Two-Year College Transfer Grant, and submit your FAFSA or VASA on time
YEAR 3: EXPERIENCE
Grow your skills on LinkedIn Learning, meet with advisors for graduation and career planning, explore library resources, consider studying abroad, and research School of Education scholarships
YEAR 4: EXCEL
Complete your 125 hour internship, apply for graduation, and build your brand and network as you prepare for your next career steps
