HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE VAUXHALL MOTORS FC NEWSLETTER – HOME OF EVERYTHING TO DO WITH VMFC!

Hello and welcome to the official newsletter of Vauxhall Motors Football Club. I’m delighted to bring you this month’s issue, and this letter will come out once every six months – January and June.

In this bumper 26-page newsletter, we look at how the First Team and Youth Teams are doing on the pitch, speak to First-Team Manager, Michael McGraa, along with Chairman, Jon Waring, we introduce our new ‘Motors Quiz’, see a first look inside our new Club Shop, look at our recent First Team’s Matchday Gallery, and introduce our new series – Role in Focus, this time with our First Team Physio, Shirley. Also a quick mention to Marc Gibbs who took all photos in the newsletter (unless stated otherwise).

In this issue, we also pay tribute to our late vice-chairman, Alan Bartlam. Alan sadly passed away on the 8th of October 2021. Alan did many roles across the club, including the issues of this newsletter, for 2020 and the two issues released in 2021. Along with this, Alan also did our matchday programme, and many other roles behind the scenes at the club, remaining smiling and happy throughout, and meeting hundreds of people who passed through the First Team, Reserves and Youth Teams along the way. All our thoughts go out to Alan’s family. We welcomed Mr. Bartlam’s family at our tribute match to Alan in the BuildBase FA Vase First Round Proper earlier this season, where Alan’s daughter, Sian, and wife, Helen visited Vauxhall Motors FC.
