The story is about a 7th grader called Greg Heffley. He has two brothers one is called Rodrick who is the oldest brother and the other one is called Manny who is the youngest brother. Hehas a friend called Rowley Jefferson. The two friends have many problems in school and outside of school from older students.

But after all Greg and Rowley resolved their issues and make plans to spend the entire summer vacation playing games.

When I first read the book I was shocked by how funny it was and by how creative the book was.
