Varun Naidu – Part of Emergency Response Team in 1998 • Conducted high risk operations that fell outside the skills, knowledge and abilities of regular members such as warrant service, barricaded persons, and hostage rescue • Thereafter selected as the team leader of the Emergency Response Team where he supervised all tactical operations and coordinated training • In 2001, Varun became the member of Criminal Investigation Branch where he conducted drug and major case management • Served the role of primary investigator and file coordinator in files including marijuana grow operations, homicides, and other violent offences
