We Don’t Fit
from Moore VOICE Magazine
By: Kimberly Sumo

People sit in dejection everyday putting on a fake smile like everything's okay And not oncedo people stop to ask their love ones or just anybody if they're mentally okay
I wish I knew I wish I knew you wasn’t I wish I knew so I could help get rid of those suicidal thoughts But I didn’t know
Did you ever ask me? No, you didn’t I sit in dejection everyday Acting like everything’s okay
Not oncedoes anybody ask if I’m okay Not even family or so called friends
Sometimes I ask myself if we ’re meant to be if we fit, but the truth is we don’t fit until you’ve asked, “Are you okay?” Mentally
Tears came down my eyes and those suicidal thoughts disappeared like it was never there Me and other people don’t fit Oh, but we do!
808 and Heartbreaks
By Kyler A. Griffin

When love was all we had, Our hearts were open and free, But love can only do so much, Before it fades away, and we're left with only memories.
The pain is sharp as a knife, As we try to move on with our lives, But the wound seems to never heal, And we find ourselves asking why.
Days go by, and weeks turn to months, The hurt still lingers, and we feel alone, But know that time will eventually mend, The heartbreak that we've known.
So let the tears fall, and the hurt wash away, For tomorrow brings a new day, Love may have left us wounded, But we'll heal, and love again, another day.
