So what does a Caci Facial involve?
The treatment starts with a discussion about your skin, product use and usual routines. Then the skin is treated to a thorough buffing and cleansing with a unique microdermabrasion technique that incorporates silicone carbide coated tips to slough away dead cells, which creates a tingling, but not unpleasant, sensation. A
s the Spring and Summer approach many people look forward to the longer, brighter days. However, there are many that dread this time of year due to higher pollen counts resulting in hay fever. Although there are many drugs, anti-histamines and nasal sprays on the market claiming to help hay fever sufferers, the Bowen Technique can make a huge difference to the onset, duration and intensity of the body’s response to the allergens and histamines that trigger this condition. Most Bowen therapists have a number of regular hay fever clients who book appointments as their time of onset approaches. Some, who start early with tree pollens, will need to be seen as early as January or the beginning of February. Often people discover the anti-hay fever properties of Bowen by accident. They come for treatment of a bad back or tennis elbow, for instance, and then discover their bodies are

not reacting as usual to the pollens which in previous years have tormented them. Mr W came for treatment for a stiff shoulder but had been a hay fever sufferer since childhood requiring regular medication. His treatment was modified to incorporate a hay fever treatment with Bowen and he found his symptoms eased considerably that Summer. He was so impressed he came back the next Spring for further treatment and was able to go through the whole season without medication.

he Bowen Technique, which originates in Australia and was introduced to the UK in the 1990’s, prides itself on being able to trigger the body’s own healing systems. Rather than making the body change, Bowen ‘asks’ the body to recognise the ailment and make the changes it requires. Bowen is generally pleasant to receive, each session lasting 30-45 minutes. Always look at the samples under various light sources (daylight, lamp light etc) – they may vary dramatically. Which type of backing?
After determining the colour and style of the pattern you want, it's best to look for what type of backing the wallpaper has. Wallpaper with a non-woven backing will be fully strippable when you desire a change. "Paste-the-wall" uses non-woven backing paper that does not expand when it gets wet. As it doesn't need to soak, the paste can be applied directly to the wall which cuts decorating time in half, compared to regular wallpapers.

If you're wallpapering for the first time, avoid very small patterns with offset matches; the designs can be difficult to match up in repeat. flat or textured?
Choosing a flat or textured design is all about personal style. Textured wallpapers can give a wall some dimension and also do an excellent job in covering imperfections. If you have imperfections in your walls, but prefer the look of flat wallpaper, using a wall liner as a base layer can give you the added coverage you need. How do you know how much to purchase?
It’s simple! Just follow this guide: 1. Measure all walls and multiply the width by the height of each wall in feet. 2. Add all measurements to yield the total square footage. 3. Deduct for windows, doors and other large openings. 4. Check the roll label for how much square foot coverage the roll gives and ensure the roll coverage is more than the total wall square footage. 5. The general rule of thumb is to order one roll extra than what you need. It is best to get it at the same time as the original purchase to ensure the rolls are from the same batch so there is no variation in colour. The spare roll is to account for an offset match and mistakes. You can always return rolls if they go unused. 6. If in doubt call in a professional - they’ll do it all for you!
