We are seeing a significant increase in the number of homes listed for sale. This was not unexpected, as there has been a gradual increase of new listings and a slower escalation of price increases over the last few months. Although still considered a Seller’s Market in most neighborhoods, the bidding wars are finally over. Here in Arizona we are seeing seasonality which was unnoticeable for the last two summers. Interest rates, inflation and fear of the unknown are keeping others on the sideline. There are less buyers, more inventory and with it, price drops.
