God is raising up leaders in many nations with great vision and undying dedication for the expanding Church. The potential is immense for local church communities around the world to advance justice in broken places, reach out with compassion to the marginalized, and engage evangelism and church planting in unreached and post-Christian contexts.
The challenge is to serve alongside these leaders and communities, encouraging them in demanding ministry contexts, equipping the leaders in the way of Jesus. The moment calls for mentors, life-on-life models, trainers, teachers, and contextually developed programs for equipping leaders so that the Church can flourish in God’s mission.
We believe God has called and prepared United World Mission to serve with the global Church in this unique moment. Since our beginnings in 1946 our DNA has formed around training ministry leaders, partnering with others, and reaching out with compassion.
In all we do, whether serving the poor and vulnerable, nurturing new church communities, or teaching and training leaders, our calling and mandate is to partner with the Church to form the next generation of Christian servants from among the nations.
50+ 700 Global Workers
Our global workers participate in various types of ministries - from training leaders in seminaries and churches to planting churches and serving poor and marginalized communities – we are all united in our passion of serving with the global Church to equip local believers for ministry. Together, we can see more missionaries placed among the unreached, more pastors and leaders receiving accessible and contextual training, and more people hearing the Gospel for the first time.
Our TE Consultants come alongside seminaries globally as advisors and trainers. They serve seminaries and churches in their regions to strengthen seminary leaders, facilitate partnerships and foster innovation. By bringing together seminaries and churches, they are truly helping to equip pastors with adequate training and spread the Gospel built on sound doctrine.
With your generosity we can shift the culture of ministry formation in the global Churh through our RTHs. The purpose of RTHs is to define and confront the leadership challenges in each region so that relevant training is made accessible to more leaders. Hub Teams facilitate leadership formation by training trainers and by resourcing and assisting training programs.
