Giving back doesn’t have to come from your wallet. Consider becoming a volunteer!
We will continue to introduce you to our community grant partners every month.
We are excited to partner with the Boys and Girls Club of Newburgh and their Early Elementary Education Program The program is intended to improve academic outcomes for youth through literacy instruction. The program operates during the school year, Monday-Friday and consists of three structured hours of activities including homework help and tutoring, academic enrichment and electives including classes in the arts, science and technology and sports.
One of our goals is to create a more financially stable community.
We want to:
Improve financial access for ALICE and low-income individuals to alleviate short-term financial crises in order to increase local families’ economic position.
Increase annual earnings and workplace advancement of individuals and families in our region.
If a child is not reading at grade level by the end of third grade, they are statistically likely to remain illiterate throughout their life. This has caused 45 million adults in the United States alone to be illiterate. That is 5x the population of New York City.
Our Kindness Champions have been nominated. Check out our website and view all our contestant’s videos and vote for your favorite.
Voting ends on September 18th.
You can double your impact with Double Vote Fridays. Every Friday, through the end of the competition, you can double your vote. $1 = 2 votes.
