“Classics Redux”

S e a s o n 7

Charles Gounod – Petite Symphonie, Op. 90

Joseph Reicha – Parthia in F Major

W.A. Mozart – Serenade No. 11 in E-flat major, K. 375

"In Season 7's first cycle, we revisit old friends and meet new ones. Mozart's Serenade No. 11 is a hallmark of the harmoniemusik genre and showcases the sonic capabilities of the SAHarmonie, as well as Mozart's adept writing for winds. Gounod's Petite Symphonie and Mozart Serenade No. 11 was performed on our first concert in 2019, and we are happy to share it again."

Repertoire revisited. Bringing it all back to where it began for the SAHarmonie. Come enjoy the works of Mozart, Reicha, and Gounod. Stay awhile and enjoy some of the best music for chamber winds.

Learn about San Antonio's premier chamber wind ensemble.

The San Antonio Harmonie Ensemble (SAHarmonie) is a group of like-minded musicians with a passion for performing chamber music at the highest level. All the performers and conductors call the greater San Antonio area home and are proud to share their talents with the Alamo City.

Recent honors include an invited clinic at the 2024 Texas Bandmasters Association Clinic/Convention, National Winner in the 2023 American Prize competition for community bands and wind ensembles, and an invited showcase performance for the 2022 Texas Music Educators Association Clinic/Convention.
