Katia Osorio is a Honduran-American bassoonist based out of Houston, Texas, whose career is deeply intertwined with advocacy for marginalized artists in classical music.
She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Master’s at Yale School of Music, where she also served as managing director and co-founder of the video series Exposure TV
In performance and programming, Osorio emphasizes representation, inclusion, and the redesign of standard repertoire and concert practices to be more equitable.
Her playing has been featured in ensemble and solo settings, and she is recognized for both her technical command of the bassoon and her commitment to broader cultural issues in the classical field.

Aaron Kurz is an American concert pianist noted for his charismatic and expressive performances spanning multiple continents.
He has appeared in major venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York) and the Palace of Peace and Harmony in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. European press have praised his concerts as “nuanced musical journeys” (Belgium’s Le Soir) and “a lesson in pianism” (England’s Cambridge Independent).
Kurz studied at Yale (and is/was studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music). He is regarded for his refined technique, interpretative depth, and growing international profile.
