Consider this: An MBA from the University of Utah’s Professional MBA (PMBA) program can be the key to achieving your career goals.

Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business

This program is specifically designed for working professionals like you who want to enhance and accelerate their careers while still meeting the demands of their work and personal lives. Don’t put your career aspirations on hold any longer - it is time to move forward. #1 Part-time MBA in Utah

“The Professional MBA program aligned with my lifestyle on every level. It met me where I was personally and professionally, and it allowed me to structure my education to achieve my goals. Laura Snyder | Class of 2012 Undergraduate: Business Administration, Kansas State University Career: Deputy Program Manager, Civil and Commercial Satellites, Northrop Grumman

MOVE FORWARD The University of Utah’s Professional MBA program is designed for rising business leaders. The PMBA program is a prestigious, AACSB-accredited program with evening and online classes that allow you to maintain work and life responsibilities while you earn your MBA, generating powerful dividends. Over the last three years, graduates of the program reported an average salary increase of 30% upon graduation and 63% received a promotion while in the program. During the 24-month program, you will learn from world-class faculty. You will grow as you pair academics with your professional experiences. You will build lifelong relationships with students, alumni, professors, and business leaders. And you will walk away from the program transformed.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR MBA The PMBA curriculum is comprised of core curriculum that lays a strong foundation in diverse business disciplines. Electives expand upon that foundation and allow you to design your own path of study, whether that means focusing on a specific discipline or taking courses across a variety of subjects. The PMBA learning experience does not end in the classroom. The ability to work full-time while pursuing an MBA provides you with the unique opportunity to immediately apply what you learn in class to your current role. Using the business, leadership, and strategy principles you to learn in class at work and bringing your experiences back into the classroom for discussion enhances your ability to master those skills. The David Eccles School of Business faculty who teach PMBA classes are award-winning researchers, corporate success stories, successful entrepreneurs, outstanding authors, and accomplished teachers. Their passion and expertise put them on the cutting edge of business innovation. Our instructors build your knowledge and understanding of core business principles through strong academic theories, case-based curricula, and vibrant discussion.

CORE CURRICULUM Core courses make up approximately two-thirds of a PMBA student’s curriculum. During the first year, core courses are taken with a cohort of 40 - 60 students. This enables you to network and learn with a diverse group of students with different educational, professional, and personal backgrounds.

ELECTIVES Elective courses make up about a third of a PMBA student’s course of study and dozens of evening and online elective offerings are available each semester.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING In addition to academic courses, there is an on-campus organization and experiential learning opportunity to fit any business interest. Organizations like the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, the University Venture Fund, Technology & Venture Commercialization, and more provide a robust learning community with opportunities for growth outside of the classroom.

“I needed a program that could teach me the fundamental elements of business, and the Professional MBA program did just that. The faculty, curriculum, and my classmates were outstanding. Nicholas Anderson | Class of 2012 Undergraduate: Behavioral Neuroscience, Purdue University Previous Graduate: Bioimaging, Boston University Career: Managing Partner, LDD Partners
