On behalf of USYouth Soccer, we would like to extend a warm welcome to those attending and participating in the 2025 USYouth Soccer National Championships presentedby NewYork Life.The USYouth Soccer National Championships arethe country1s most prestigious national youth soccer event providing approximately l85,000 players on over 10,000 teams from USYouth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline andfair play.

As you prepare, USYouth Soccer has createdthisTeam InformationGuide to provideimportant information and guidance. It is strongly suggested thatthis document be shared withyour team and a copybrought to the event for reference.

It is with heavy hearts atthis years National Championships that we share the passing of Bob Hart, a longtime and devoted member of the USYouth Soccer family.

Bob1s commitment to the National Championship Series began in 199.li, when he served as the Local Organizing Committee Chair for the 1996 eventin Lexington, KY. In 1997, he was appointed Chair of the Midwest Regional Cup and continued to serve the game and our organization with distinction through 2016. In 2017, Bob was named Chair of the National Championship Series.

We are deeply grateful for Bob's manycontributions to youth soccer at both the regional and national levels.His dedication shaped the championship experience for players, families, and volunteers.True to his name, Bob Hart had the biggest heart and shared it fully with the soccer community.

GENERALINFORMATION

HEADINJURIES&SUBSITUTES FollowRule242 (sec3) (3)

• If a player is suspected of suffering a head injury they may be substituted tor evaluation without the substitutions counting against the teams total number of allowed substitutions during each half or overtime period. If the player with the suspected head injury has received clearance from the events' Health Care Professional, the player may re-enter at any stoppage of play. The evaluated player must replace the original substitute and will not count as a substitution.The temporary substituted player may re-enter the game as a regular substitute. Ateam may only make a temporary substitution if they have a substitution available.

• If the temporary substitute is sent off during the evaluation period, the evaluated player may not return in the same half of play in a limited reentry age division

TEAMTRAINERS

•ATeam Trainer will receive a separate credential allowing secondary medical support in the event of a team injury. This credential will allow bench area presence if there are 3 or fewer issued bench passes.TheTeamTrainer should be a Certified AthleticTrainer or similar accreditation with a US Youth Soccer member pass.TeamTrainers are secondary in supplying medical support as the Event AthleticTrainers and Medical staff are the primary. If aTeamTrainer starts medical attention until the Event Medical arrives, theTeamTrainer must relinquish attention once the Event Medical staff arrive.

USYOUTHSOCCERSUBSIDY

• Each team receives a general subsidy plus an additional travel subsidy based on the total distance they travel to Orlando, FLTeams should expect their subsidy check within 90 days of completion of the National Championships provided theTeam Representative Report has been completed and received. Disciplinary problems, ethics violations, facility damage, or failure to tum in all requested forms will be considered reason tor delaying or deducting subsidy money. Each team's subsidy check will be mailed to the address provided in theTeam Representative Report.

FORFEITUREOFTEAM SUBSIDY

•Actions that MAY result in forfeiture of part or the entire team subsidy:

• Teams/players not wearing championshipspatch as instructed;

•Tearn bench left in disarray after games;

• Disciplinary problems (see Standards ofTeam Conduct);

•Team Representative report turned in to the National Office after the deadline;

•Tearns practicing on fields that are not assigned to them.

• Match Manipulation,Teams not competing in the spirit of the competition.

EVENTPARKING

Complimentary general parking is available for all guests.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Firearms, ammunition, knives and weapons of any kind.

Marijuana (including marijuana enriched products) or any illegal substance. Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons.

Horns, whistles, large megaphones or artificial noise makers.

Recreational devices such as drones, remotecontrol toys, skateboards, scooters, inline skates or shoes with built-in wheels. Strollers that are greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. Wagons and strollers are prohibited at indoor venues of ESPN Wide World of Sports. Flags/banners of any kind that are larger than 3’ x 5’ regardless of how the flag/banner is intended to be carried. No metal flag poles.

ESPN WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS RULES

TENTS

USYS will provide tents that cover team benches. SpectatorscanNOT bringtheir owntentsfor use.

Spectatorscanbringumbrellas,howevernothingcanbestaked into the ground or left unattended.

TRIPODS/VEO EQUIPMENT

Tripods/ monopod and VEO equipment can only be used on the spectator side of the fields.

If desired height is over 6’ (182 cm) then please speak with an ESPN Wide World of Sports Cast Member at the fields to receive an exception tag and instructions to weigh it down.

COOLERS & ICE

Guestsmaybringasinglecoolerforpersonaluseandaresubjectto inspection by an ESPN Wide World of Sports Cast Member. Coachesmaybringasinglecoolerforteamuseandaresubjectto inspection by an ESPN Wide World of Sports Cast Member. No alcoholic beverages and/or glass containers are allowed in ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Re-usable ice packsarerecommended,orabagoficethatisnotbrokenuntil after coolers are checked at the entrance.

SEATING

Bleachers areatlimitedfieldsfor first comefirst serveseating. Team benches are at the fields.

Spectators canbringtheir ownchair; it must not prohibit or obstruct safety in walking paths and exit ways.

INCLEMENTWEATHER

Intheeventofinclementweather,includinglightning,allcompetitions will be halted, and all Guests will be directed by public address announcements and Disney Cast Members to appropriate shelter areas.

STANDARDSOFTEAMCONDUCT

Teamscompetinginthe USYouthSoccer NationalChampionshipsarerepresentativesoftheirState Associationand Region.Teams areexpectedtoconductthemselvesinanappropriatemanner.The followingarestandardsofconductforteamplayersandteamofficials.Violationofthesestandards mayjeopardizetheteam1sparticipationinthe NationalChampionshipsandmayresultinforfeitureof anyorallsubsidiesprovidedbyorthrough USYouthSoccer.

l.Teamsarerequiredtostayinthelodgingprovidedorarrangedforthemby USYouthSoccer. Nocamping,nochanginghotels-noexceptions. Failuretoadheretothispolicy willresultinyour teamlosingtheir USYouthSoccerSubsidy.

2.Teamsshallattendallactivities plannedontheirbehalfincluding,butnotlimitedto,media events, banquets,photosessions,orparties.Suchevents willbeplannedwiththewelfareofthe playersinmind.

3. Playersareexpectedtobepresentatthefieldatthedesignatedtimeforallgamesandall pre-gameceremonies. Players shallbedressedappropriatelyintheirteam uniform.. Players shall conductthemselvesinamaturemannerwheninhotels andpublicareasatandawayfromthe playingfields.This shallmeanthatrowdybehavior andfraternizinginhotelrooms willnotbe toleratedincludingviolationsofhotelpolicies. Noalcoholicbeverages,tobaccoproducts,orother intoxicants shallbeinthepossessionofplayers.

'-i.Teamofficialsareexpectedtoprovidechaperonesforplayersatalltimesduringthe National Championships.Teamofficialsshallaccompanyplayerstoallscheduledevents.

5.Teamofficialsandteamsupportersareexpectedtocooperatewithandbecourteoustoevent personnelanddignitariesinalldealings.

6.Onlyfour('-i)teamofficials willbeallowedontheteambenchduringgames.Teamofficialsare expectedtocooperatewithgameofficialsandtofollowproceduresestablished. Nocoachingwillbe allowedfromthetouchlines. Degradingremarksdirectedtowardplayers, opponents, orgame officialsinanylanguagemayresultinbeingsentoffthegamesite.

The above standards shallbeenforcedduringsuchtimeastheteamis withinthevenueofthe USYouthSoccer NationalChampionships.

STANDARDSOFTEAMCONDUCT

UNIFORM PATCHES

• The USYouth Soccer Board of Directors has mandated that all players participating in the USYouth Soccer National Championships shall wearthe USYouth Soccer logo patch on their uniforms. Two (2) sets of patches will be supplied to each team at the Regional Championships. If the team has two pairs of shorts they should both have the patch sewn on.

•USYouth Soccer advises that the USYouth Soccer logo patch shall be sewn on the FRONT RIGHT LEG of the team uniform shorts, centered, and one inch from the bottom.

• National League teams that qualify for the National Championships will have theirpatches mailed to them once all regionalchampionships have begun.

SCORING&TIEBREAKERS

SCORING METHOD

•Thestandingsofteamswithinbracketsarebaseduponthenumberofpointsearnedinqualifying games.Teamsearnpointsasfollows:

•Three pointstorawin(includingforfeits*)

•Onepointtoratie

•Zeropointstoraloss.

•Forfeitsareconsidereda3-0victory.

TIEBREAKERS

• Intheeventteamsaretiedonthebasisofpointsearned,theteam1splacementwillbedetermined inaccordancewiththefollowingsequentialcriteria.

a.Winnerofheadtoheadcompetition(thesecriteriaarenotusedifmorethantwoteamstied.)

b.Winnerofmostgames.

c.Goaldifferential(goalsscoredminusgoalsagainst) withamaximumoffive(5)goalspergame.

d. Fewestgoalsallowed.

e. Kicksfromthepenaltymark(asdescribedin NationalChampionships Rule2'-i2Section2(c)).

NOTE

•Ifmorethantwoteamsaretied,thesequencewillbefolloweduntilateamiseliminated/advanced. Theremainingteamswillthenrestartthesequenceat Point 11b11 aboveuntilthetieisbroken.

•IfFlFApenaltykickshavetobetaken,therewillbeadrawbythe NationalChampionships Committee.Thefirstteamdrawnwillreceivethebye; thenextteamdrawnwillbethehometeam againsttheremainingteaminthefirstcontestof kicksfromthemark.Thewinnerofthefirstcontest willthencompeteagainstthebyeteamin kicksfromthemarktodeterminetheroundrobinwinner. Thebyeteamwillbethehometeam.Thisisonlyiftherearemorethantwo(2)teamstiedaftergoing throughtheTie Breakers.

No.Allofthehotelsare strictaboutcheck-inandcheck-outtimesastheyreceiveaconstantflowof visitors. Pleaserefertothecheckinandcheckouttimeslistedforyourteam1shotel. Earlycheck-inmay beavailable,butitisnotguaranteed.Inotherwords,donot expectthatyou willbeabletogetin earlyorextendyourcheckout.Additionally,thereisminimal spaceavailableinthehotels1 lobbies.All luggagewillhavetobecheckedwiththehotels1 belldesksuntilcheck-in. Becauseoflimitedfloorarea,pleaseleaveallbaggageinthevehicleuntilroomshavebeen assigned.Thiswillprovidemoreroominthereservationareaandwillkeepthe players from unnecessarilybeinginconveniencedbycarryingtheirbagsandreloadingtothevans.

•WHENANDWHERECANIGETTAPED/WRAPPED?

Trainerswillbeavailableatthemedicaltentonehourbefore,during,andimmediatelyafterall games.

·ISAPLAYERMEDICALRELEASE FORM REQUIRED?

No,howeveritishighly recommended thateachplayerparticipatingintheeventhaveasigned medicalreleaseform.Theformwillmakeanymedicalemergency situation run smootherifthe informationisreadilyavailable.Thisformcanbefromeitheryourstatecuporregionalchampionship. Ifyouneedtheform pleaseprintoutthePlayerInformationandMedicalReleaseformfromour website.

TEAM REPRESENTATIVE

EachTeam (Regional winners and National LeagueTeams) will select aTeamRepresentative for their team while they compete in the US Youth Soccer National Championships.ThisTeamRepresentative can be a team manager or a representative from the state association (choice is up to the team). EachTeam Representative must notify their respective regional program manager to inform them of their name and contact information. A state association is not required to provide a team representative to the team.

TEAMREPRESENTATIVERESPONSIBILITIES BEFORETHENATIONALCHAMPIONSHIPS

•Contact yourRegional ProgramManager with your teams' arrival and departure information.

•Contact your team and or On Location/AnthonyTravel as to your credit card information to guarantee your room at the assigned hotel with your team.

•Provide correct and on-time documents to the Regional ProgramManager required before the event

• Communicate with coach or team officials regarding NationalChampionships requirements.

• Distribute championship rules to all team officials.

• Within seven (J) days upon completion of the RegionalChampionships confirm with the Regional ProgramManager that the team's departure times are late enough on Sunday and on Friday (13U) to enable the team to attend the awards ceremony following theChampionshipgames.

•Team Rep must stay with the team at the designatedhotel.

TEAMREPRESENTATIVERESPONSIBILITIES DURINGTHENATIONALCHAMPIONSHIPS GAME DAY:

• If a Player is sent off the field by the Game Official that player can stay on the bench. Should that players behavior become a disturbance to the Game Officials, the Game Officials will dismiss the player and theTeam Rep will then need to escort that player away from the field.

• If aTeam Official is sent off the field by the Game Official, an event official will remove them to an area away from the field.

• Upon completion of each game ensures that the bench area is clear of all trash.

• Upon completion of team's final game that would involve a medal ceremony it will be the responsibility of theTeam Rep to escort their team immediately from the bench area to the site of the mandatory awards ceremony.

• Ensure that all eligibility rules have been met for players and team officials.

• Collect the completed BestXI form at the end of the match from the coach for pick up from an event official. Completed Best XI form can be left at the .lith official tent.

• Upon your return from the USYouth Soccer NationalChampionships prepare your written TeamRep Report and send to the USYouth Soccer National Office on or before the Friday, August15th deadline.

• EachTearnRepresentative will have one (1) credential outside of the four(Li) that are given to each team.
