The second annual Pepin Family USF Summer Nursing Pathway Program offered high school students a week-long glimpse into nursing. Students participated in simulations, earned CPR certifications, and learned about nursing careers.
Over 300 applications were received from Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties, and the program doubled in size, accepting 50 sophomores and juniors, many of whom would be first-generation college students.
