Under a sunny Southern California sky, hundreds of leading social work researchers, clinicians, and policy makers convened to discuss the latest breakthroughs in health and mental health during a recent international conference led by the USC School of Social Work and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Held in the United States for the first time in its nearly two-decade history, the 7th International Conference on Social Work in Health and Mental Health featured more than 300 presentations and discussions on critical issues such as aging, integrated care, and homelessness.
