PICTURE IT, MIAMI 1986. A sophomore in a new school with only a couple of friends, I remember how awful it felt being called names and being stereotyped. In fact, it seemed like the worst of times. Fast forward to 2011, the issue of stereotyping and bullying still thrives and unfortunately this behavior now has deadly consequences. Being empathetic towards anyone, especially children, experiencing this type of treatment, I was happy to be introduced to a local organization that addressed these issues head on. So, as you gaze at the stunning Ms. Eva Marcille, read about the talented Anthony Mackie and explore our other fantastic features, be sure to spend some extra quality time learning about how you can help to STOP STEREOTYPES by supporting our featured organization the Anti-Prejudice Consortium.
