Values Framework Honor Dignity

Guiding Principles

UHS is committed to policies & practices which honor and affirm the dignity of all stakeholders including staff, residents & volunteers.

Transparency

Accountability

Contextual Awareness

UHS believes that change is possible; our staff, residents, volunteers and community all have the capacity to learn, grow and expand when we create space to listen and be responsive.

UHS recognizes that minimizing barriers to knowledge & understanding that exists for staff, residents & volunteers, supports their full commitment as an active collaborator in service of the mission and vision.

UHS believes in the shared ownership and responsibility of staff to execute the mission, vision & values of the organization.

UHS understands that there must be an intentional acknowledgement of the dynamics and conditions contributing to the present and future direction.

Center the individuality and personhood of staff, residents & volunteers Seek to amplify the unique assets staff, residents & volunteers bring to the UHS community
