Dear Parent I am delighted to be able to congratulate Mrs Thornton and her amazing staff for achieving Excellent across the board in these latest ISI inspections. To start at a new school and immediately be thrust into the challenges of a major school inspection is a tall order for anybody, but Mrs Thornton embraced it with both arms and has driven herself and her team with passion and determination, and she has achieved the result that we all knew Upton deserved, but had to prove to the inspectors.
Our collective job now is to enjoy the moment, and then spread the word – Upton House really is a school of excellence. I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events as we start to wind down this summer Term.
