ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF THE OZARKS

Different is in our DNA

University of the Ozarks has been making history since 1834.

Our pioneer spirit motivated us to become the first college in Arkansas to admit women, integrate athletics and evolve education for students with learning disabilities.

We’re not slowing down. Join us in creating your own path to a new future.

Location

University of the Ozarks is in Clarksville, Arkansas which is in Johnson County. It is nestled between the Arkansas River and the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Clarksville and Johnson County are widely known for peaches, scenic byways and abundance of natural outdoor recreational activities. The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool fall, winter, and spring seasons.
