What are the benefits of online learning?
Earning your degree online at UofL provides you with convenience and flexibility, and allows you to complete your education while raising a family or experiencing work and life circumstances that prevent you from commuting to campus. You can attend classes from home or anywhere you have internet access. At UofL, you are taught by the same world-class faculty as our on-campus students, you read the same books, do many of the same assignments and earn the same degree.
How much is tuition per credit hour for online courses?
The standard tuition rate* is $540 per credit hour for undergraduate online courses and $830 per credit hour for graduate online courses. Some programs offer non-standard tuition rates. uofl.me/tuition-rates

Will my diploma say I earned my degree online?
No. Your degree diploma will not specify the learning method. It will be exactly the same whether you attended classes online or on-campus.
Are there other students learning online like me?
We have a very diverse student body in our online learning community. Many of our students work full-time, are stay-athome parents, are in the military and/or are returning to the classroom after a long hiatus. We can almost guarantee that you will have classmates with similar life experiences.
