BUSINESS LEADERSHIP BUILDING
at the University of North Texas is one of the nation’s largest business colleges. Since 1961, the college has been continuously accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the premier accrediting agency for business administration and accounting degree programs. Our students experience a 25:1 student-faculty ratio. The college’s faculty is characterized by excellence in teaching, outstanding basic and applied research, and leadership in professional organizations. The faculty includes professors that have been designated as Honor Professors, Regents Professors, and “Top Profs” by Mortar Board, a senior honor society. Fall 2011 marked the grand opening of our new state-of-the-art Business Leadership Building. The building was designed to meet the college’s growing needs in terms of technology, curriculum and enrollment. The $70 million facility will accommodate our anticipated growth to 8,000 students and 140 faculty members.

The Business Leadership Building embodies the ideal of a student-centered, public research university by focusing on enhanced learning, building community, promoting research and interdisciplinarity, and positioning UNT’s College of Business as a leader in business education. ENHANCING LEARNING • The Business Leadership Building provides learning spaces for academic programs at each degree level, including undergraduate classrooms of all sizes, MBA classrooms also serving as executive education classrooms, and seminar rooms dedicated to doctoral education. • The building ensures access for all students and faculty to state-of-the-art learning technology and business information systems in classrooms, labs, group study rooms, meeting spaces, tutoring rooms and offices. • The building was designed with flexibility to accommodate future changes in business education focus, pedagogy and instructional technology. • The building provides technological outreach opportunities including video conferencing, global networking and on-demand video.
