Welcome Back to UNO!

We are excited about the 2025 Juried Arts Alumni Exhibition. The show is the largest exhibition we have had, more than double the alumni compared to the 2018 exhibition.

This year’s event will not only feature outstanding works from 54 artists, it will have a reunion feel as well because it features School of the Arts alumni from the past 51 years!

The School of the Arts, which consists of Art & Art History, Theatre, and Writer’s Workshop, continues to be UNO’s artistic hub. Community facing, and to help the arts thrive in Omaha, and beyond, our doors are always open for you.

UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA AT OMAHA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS

Welcome to the UNO Art Gallery!

The UNO Art Gallery proudly celebrates a vibrant cross-section of artworks by our alumni that highlights the creative diversity and innovative spirit fostered within our academic community.

This exhibition brings together over five decades of fellow classmates. Their dynamic range of artist production reflects the thriving voices that continue to shape the field of art today.

Special thanks to our enthusiastic jurors Patrick Drickey (Gallery 1516), Jean Sitzman (Friends of Art) and Zaleski (Art History 2023) who sought works demonstrating originality, technical proficiency and presentation.

Collectively, this exhibition represents UNO’s overwhelming success as a flourishing community of support.

of Communication, Fine Arts and Media

We are comprised of three distinct schools in three unique facilities: the School of the Arts (Weber Fine Arts Building), the School of Communication (Arts & Sciences Hall), and the School of Music (Strauss Performing Arts Center).

Each school is built on a diverse array of courses led by a nationally-known faculty of musicians, artists, performers, writers, and scholars.

I invite you to attend our other, gallery exhibitions, receptions, and other events that take place in CFAM throughout the year.

What can you do with a School of the Arts degree?

than you think.
