Afternoon sessions

13:15 – Life at Salford Talk

You will have the opportunity to hear from one of our current students and find out more about their student experience A little like a Welcome talk, it will be the first time in the day when the whole group will be together

14:00 – Course sessions

At the end of the Life at Salford Talk we’ll divide you into groups and take you to your course session. This session will take place either on our Peel Park campus or our MediaCity campus. For those going to MediaCity, we will provide coaches over there (and back later!). Most course sessions will last around two hours; parents, carers and supporters are welcome to stay with applicants for the session or have a wander round campus and grill us with any burning questions. We will have a base for the afternoon in the New Adelphi Building and at MediaCity so do pop in if we can help with anything after your course session.

Ramadan

We know that some of our visitors will be observing Ramadan, and it’s no problem to join a session late or leave early. Our Faith Centre will be open for lunchtime prayers, and we have several prayer and Wudu rooms available throughout the day. We are providing catering for all visitors, but if you would prefer to collect a lunch voucher and take away some food with you, you are welcome to. Please speak to a member of the team for further information.

I have more questions!

We hope you’ve enjoyed your day! When you get home, if more questions spring to mind then please contact the Recruitment Team on 0161 295 4545 or enquiries@salford.ac.uk. We’re happy to help.
