STUDENT INVOLVEMENT
Student Involvement (SI) encourages students and staff to think creatively. SI wants everyone to contribute ideas and think of new ways they may enhance campus and their experience at Mason. Opportunities are available to put ideas into action, learn from hands-on experiences, meet new people, develop life-long friendships and gain skills that will help you be ready for wherever your future takes you!
Student Involvement helps students get connected to Mason Nation through campuswide events, student organizations, trainings, student advocacy and personal interactions. This brings ideas to fruition, creates a sense of belonging and prepares students for success in their future. SI works with all Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) on the Arlington Campus and assists them with funding applications through the Student Funding Board (SFB).

CONTEMPORARY STUDENT SERVICES
Contemporary Student Services (CSS) serves as a compass and a bridge. Contemporary students are students who have had more experiences than most college students in their lives before coming to Mason. They might be working professionals, have families, and/or so much more. They may have experienced things a lot of other students haven’t, like being in the foster care system or in the military. They are students who don’t always see themselves reflected or fully supported in college outreach materials or campus programming.
Contemporary Student Services seeks to provide a centralized resource center and comprehensive offering of academic and social engagement opportunities.
HOWTOMAKEANAPPOINTMENT
Visit the Contemporary Student Services website to submit contact form online or to join a focus group.
