From weeks 1 7, a total of 33 pages of sketches were completed. Week by week, I could see my rapid progression in the sketches. I was able to learn more detailing from the objects and do research on them while gaining more knowledge from them.
Besides, what I have learned in this assignment might be the importance of composition. It can catch people's attention and pique their interest in the level of detail on the sketches.
In this assignment, our group repurposes a coffee table into an office chair to evaluate our abilities to blend beauty and functionality in terms of material efficiency, production, and assembly.
Aside from that, we encountered several concerns in this assignment that amounted to minor issues in our design from the ergonomics and stability perspectives. However, we were able to overcome it, and I would like to thank my tutors, Mr. Redzwan and Mr. Romzi, who provided different ideas and suggestions for our design. In addition, I'd want to thank my fellow group members for their desire to spend time together, collaborate, and encourage one another. Finally, a particular thanks to our tutor, Mr. Fendi, who accompanied us through the workshop to achieve the final result.
