Season Haikus Winter:

Summer:

Harsh winds howls fiercely,

The summer sun glares,

A blanket of snow and ice,

Families drive off to the sea,

Winter’s come to town.

It’s vacation time!

Spring:

Fall:

A soft spring drizzle

Golden leaves spin down,

Splashes on the bright tulips,

The chillier autumn air,

Birds sing melodies.

Bring out your jackets.

Cold Graveyard Cold graveyard, Enveloping fog, Dark clouds hover above Just after dawn. Gray all around, Polluted city air, Whoosh Sorrow creeps in, Stray dog shuffles Just like another dejected mourner. Rub my hands for warmth, Walk away.

Lonely Tree Lonely tree, Whooshing breeze. Peach sky is hazy and dim, In early morning. Rubbery emerald leaves, Tree lonely as stars, Swoop‌ Playful, frolicking leaves, Miniscule ants troop. Bark tastes like bitter winter mornings, Arms of the tree droop. Lonely tree.

Fame Fame was glorious. Everything around her was beautiful, perfect. She was idolized.

And fame was unforgiving. She was unreal, Larger than life. Everyone else gawked at her.

But fame was shallow. Once she dove beneath the surface everything was different.

Still, fame was fame, And it was Her choice to have it. Then there was no way back.

Fame was isolation. They stared and murmured, But avoided her as if There was an invisible wall.

Tranquil Waters Crystal clear water glistens and gleams, Rippling like a freshly made bed. The sunlight reflected its beams, Warping the figures beneath. A school of miniscule fish horde Around a silently resting shark, With skin as smooth as a gourd. All is in peace.
