Spring

An idyllic warmth. The come of a brand New Year, Spring embraces us.

Autumn Golden, leafy rain,  Sing the come of Fall, While Nature sings hums the tune.

Seasons (Haius) Winter

Summer

Snowflaes fall lightly, Jac Frost has paid a visit, cy Winter days.

A Time to rejoice, Flowers coat the once bare ground, Summer breas here too.

Coloured Sky Blinding yet beautiful I jump, falling through clouds Time is never – ending. Blue touches the sky, the green sea below, Whizz! Ecstatic as I fall. Birds fly overhead, Falling like a comet, down, down. I touch down as night Takes over.

Falling from the Sky (Twelve line poem)

Haunted Horizon (Free verse)

A vast terrain of darkened navy desk A turquoise wall, not a single white mark Sodden and bare, dominating and dark.

One lightbulb comes down, not pour or grotesque, But calming, there is something above the Earth White as snow, soft as a feathered dove. Pebbles litter the table, thoughts of the world Piled together, like a big barren slide. My bed fights for space with the navy table, Like the water and hay in a damp, dark stable. Fog coats the room like a trip from winter A mess of clothes to clean up – wait, time for dinner!
