Women Who Made a Difference.
The book is about 3 women who fought for gender and racial equality and disabled people rights.
Gertrude Bell: Gertrude Bell was a very intelligent woman; she enjoyed studying and reading. She went to Lady Margaret Hall, a women´s college at Oxford. At first, male students and teachers in Oxford ignored her but when she took part in college debates, they realized that she was very smart. She worked for British Intelligence and she also became one of the most important advisors of the King of Iraq, that´s why people called her “The Uncrowned Queen of Iraq”.
