UNICEF High School Clubs December 2014

HIV/AIDS Awareness Month More than 35 million people worldwide currently live with HIV/AIDS, and 3.3 million are under the age of 15. UNICEF is working towards an AIDS free generation. December is HIV/AIDS Awareness month, where people can unite in the fight against HIV/AIDS. See the Resource Calendar to learn more. Here are some ways you can get involved:  Organize an AIDS walk at your school to raise funds/awareness.  Have a bake sale or party. Fundraise by baking your favorite pastries & desserts, designing red HIV/AIDS awareness ribbons on cupcakes and cookies.  Buy your holiday gifts at the UNICEF Market for your family and friends.  Create a Crowdrise fundraising page. Send the link out to as many people as you can, and spread it across many social media platforms.  Commemorate this day by decorating your community. Decorate trees, buildings, bulletin boards with red ribbons.  Write a newspaper article on HIV/AIDS and the importance of World Aids Day and/or HIV/AIDS Month.
