There will be loads of thin gs to do during Welcome Week but don’t forget to come along to Serend ipity our 2 day Freshers’ Fair in Maes Gla s (the sports centre on the Ffridd site ) on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22n d 11am-3pm where you can check out all our clubs and societies and grab you rself some pretty cool freebies...
Unity Bangor is our LG BTQ society that is ava ilable to any student, whether you define as LGBTQ, hav e questions about sexuality & rela ted issues, or just want to socialise! Unity Guides are peer guides (in addition to your academic school peer guid es) who are trained to hel p with any issues you might hav e settling into life in Ban gor, or to help you find other LGBTQ students. We have the sam e training as your subject guides, as well as extra con fidentiality training. We will be run ning a number of social events and Unity Guides will be available while you’re set tling in through weekly drop in sessions or on a one-to -one basis.
