GREETINGS FROM THE LEADER
Dear fellow student!
If there’s one thing my dad told me when I started studying in Bergen, it was that I had to get involved in UKEN. And he was absolutely right! As a fUKENsjonær (volunteer) during UKEN22, I made friends for life, and as Assistant Head of Events in UKEN24, I made memories for life. UKEN has given me my best friends, tons of experience, unforgettable moments, a strong sense of accomplishment, and above all UKE joy. Now, I can’t wait to create new UKE memories together with YOU!
UKEN is one of Norway’s largest student-run cultural festivals and the biggest subcommittee of NHHS With over 1,200 fUKENsjonærer working together, we aim to maximize student wellbeing and create the world’s best UKEN for ourselves and for everyone attending the festival. Concerts, revues, shows, and countless other events are on the program, and we truly have something for everyone!
Now we’re expanding for the second time and need more amazing people to join the team and help leave their mark on UKEN In this recruitment round, we’re announcing many important and exciting positions both team leaders and middle management roles! THE REVUE SECTION
The revue section is hiring!
So nice to see that you have found your way to the right section! Ever since UKEN started, the revue has been the heart of UKEN, and that is how it is going to stay. The UKErevy spreads joy and fun throughout the whole city of Bergen, and you can be a part of it too!

Then I am looking for you to join me in designing the stage and finding the most pompous props for the one and only UKEN revue I am searching for an initiative-driven team leader who sees solutions and helps take care of the revue’s most handy crew This is something you don’t want to miss!
As a fUKENsjonær you will have varied and exciting tasks related to stage design and finding props for our beloved UKEN revue. This could be anything from building stage houses to making a light rail or a giant beer can. You will be the one who truly adds the final visual touch to the revue that ties the sketches together, and maybe you’ll even get some stage time between the sketches. If you are solution-oriented and creative, or simply want to have an enormous amount of fun, then Stage and Props is the group for you!

Behind every revue there are hidden heroes, the ones who bring the performers to life through costumes and details Do you have a creative side, or would you like to learn how to sew?
As a fUKENsjonær in the costume group you get the opportunity to shape a revue without having to be on stage. You will be responsible for purchasing, planning and putting together everything the performers will wear during UKEN 2026. Not only that, you will also help make the performers stage ready during the show. In other words you get a real insight into everything happening backstage and you become part of a wonderful revue environment.

THE INFO SECTION
The info section is hiring!
The Info section is finally expanding again, and this is something you definitely don’t want to miss! There’s no doubt that the Info section keeps UKEN running smoothlyit’s our job to ensure everything in the organisation operates seamlessly.
Info consists of many different groups, but what they all have in common is solving challenges, big and small. These groups are responsible for organising internal parties, developing UKEN’s graphic profile, designing UKEN’s website, creating the UKE collection, and much more! In other words, there’s a group for everyone, and together we’ll make sure the UKEN machine keeps rolling all the way until March 2026!
The Info family is growing into a large and close-knit team that will have lots of fun together! As fUKENsjonær in the Info section, you’ll also collaborate closely with the rest of UKEN, giving you the chance to connect with functionaries across different sections.

Are you structured, solution-oriented, and interested in logistics? The Transport team at UKEN26 is looking for dedicated volunteers for three key roles: team leader, driver, and shift manager. We make sure everything and everyone gets where they need to be – from artists and equipment to food and people. As a team leader, you’ll be responsible for coordination and communication within the group. As a driver, you’ll handle transport assignments by car, while shift managers oversee logistical flow and staffing during events.

As an artist host, you will be responsible for one or more of the artists performing during UKEN This involves collaborating with the booking team to prepare and plan ahead of the concerts, as well as hosting the artists during the festival. The role offers both responsibility and a lot of fun, where you become part of a close social environment and get to be involved in everything happening in the lead-up to UKEN.

The PR section is responsible for UKEN's visibility on both physical and digital platforms, and we aim for nothing less than to sell out every single event. To achieve that, we must think new, bigger and more creatively than ever

As a team leader you’ll help coordinate and motivate the crew, making sure payments and settlements run without a hitch during UKEN Engagement is the key in this role, and I value your willingness to learn and dedication above all else As a fUKENsjonær you’ll be one of the people who keep the machinery running. You’ll work with payment terminals and settlement administration on rotation throughout UKEN. No prior experience is needed, only motivation and a good mood.
