ABOUT UKEN
UKEN in Bergen is one of Norway’s largest student festivals and the biggest cultural festival on the west coast, organized entirely by students in Bergen. The festival itself will take place in March 2026, but preparations are already well underway. UKEN—and not least the lead-up to it - will undoubtedly be the most fun, exciting, and memorable thing you’ll do during your time as a student in Bergen. Here, you’ll connect with people across age groups, genders, and fields of study, take on responsibility, gain a wealth of valuable experience, and perhaps most importantly - have an absolutely incredible time! At the very heart of it all is the UKE Revue. With traditions dating back to 1946, the revue has been the launchpad for many well-known performers and has won several national awards in the Norwegian Student Revue Championships - most recently in October 2022! In addition to the revue, UKEN offers everything from large-scale concerts to intimate gigs, world record attempts, comedy shows, charity runs, children’s and senior citizens’ days, and much, much more! Past UKEN performers include 50 Cent, Karpe, Backstreet Boys, and Kygo. The magical atmosphere when some of the world’s biggest stars take the stage is truly indescribable - for both guests and fUKENctionaries. All that said, what really makes UKEN something truly special is the diversity and camaraderie found among everyone involved. There are roles and tasks for every interest, and we can guarantee both memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. GREETINGS FROM UKESJEFEN Dear fellow student! If there’s one thing my dad told me when I started studying in Bergen, it was that I had to get involved in UKEN. And he was absolutely right! As a fUKENsjonær (volunteer) during UKEN22, I made friends for life, and as Assistant Head of Events in UKEN24, I made memories for life. UKEN has given me my best friends, tons of experience, unforgettable moments, a strong sense of accomplishment, and above all - UKE joy. Now, I can’t wait to create new UKE memories together with YOU! UKEN is one of Norway’s largest student-run cultural festivals and the biggest subcommittee of NHHS. With over 1,300 fUKENsjonærer working together, we aim to maximize student wellbeing and create the world’s best UKEN - for ourselves and for everyone attending the festival. Concerts, revues, shows, and countless other events are on the program, and we truly have something for everyone! Now we’re expanding for the third time and need more amazing people to join the team and help leave their mark on UKEN. UKEteltet is back! From March 11th to 14th, UKEN26 will raise the legendary UKEteltet at Trekanttomten, right behind Bergen Bus Station! After eight long years, this iconic tent is finally making its return! With capacity for more than 5,000 people, UKEteltet will become Bergen’s largest concert venue. This takes the festival to new heights, making it possible to bring major artists back to the city – and back to UKEN! Between 2012 and 2018, the tent stood at Koengen and became a gathering place for magical moments. Now, after nearly a decade, the stage is finally ready once again, featuring artists such as Jason Derulo, Staysman, and Vassendgutane! This is more than just a venue. It’s a piece of festival history making a comeback. And we are INCREDIBLY excited! SEE YOU AT TREKANTTOMTEN IN MARCH!

Events is behind the entire program for UKEN (with the exception of the revue), and is the place for those of you who love to create unforgettable moments. LIVE VIDEO fUKENsjonærer In UKEN’s Live Video group you get the chance to dive into the world of live video and experience the magical atmosphere in both the Aula and the Uketelt, explore video production and gain insight into how concerts and shows are brought to life. No prior knowledge is required – motivation and good spirit are more than enough. For those who want to be at the very center of the UKEN experience, Live Video is the right place. Whether you are a beginner or already have experience with video cameras, you are welcome. In Live Video we have two important main tasks: making sure the audience can follow everything happening live on stage, and preserving UKEN26 for the future. That is why it is important that we do our very best to capture the most incredible moments of UKEN26 on camera.
GUEST COMMITTEE fUKENsjonærer Do you enjoy being outgoing and spreading joy? Do you have a fondness for cigars, champagne, and red carpets? Then the Guest Committee is the perfect group for you! Our task is to give UKEN’s specially invited guests an experience they will never forget. We will tailor the program for all of UKEN’s most celebrated VIP guests by organizing everything from receptions to dinners and events. For this, we need outgoing fUKENsjonærer who can carry it out with style, charm, and determination! Historically, the Guest Committee has been a group of fun and outgoing people, and this year it will once again be at the top in social interaction. Here you get to be part of perhaps UKEN’s most privileged group, with some of the most rewarding tasks. TELTARRANGEMENT Night Guards UKEteltet needs supervision even when the rest of campus is asleep. As a night guard, you will help look after the tent during the nighttime hours, together with a team of other volunteers. Tasks include patrols, supervision, and general presence in the tent. Each volunteer is expected to have two night shifts during the period. Are you reliable, responsible, and comfortable staying awake while others are asleep? Then a night guard role at UKEN is perfect for you!
fUKENsjonærer UKEteltet is back for the first time in eight years! Over the course of four days, we will staff some of the largest events during the entire UKEN festival. Join Tent Operations and help ensure smooth and professional operation of the tent from start to finish. Tasks will include rigging, cleanup, security duties, and audience guidance – in short, everything needed to create a great experience for thousands of guests. During the festival, several major highlights will take place, including a concert with JASON DERULO! Do you thrive in large-scale projects, fast-paced environments, and taking initiative? AFTERMOVIE fUKENsjonærer As an Aftermovie fUKENsjonær, you’ll play a key role in capturing and preserving the magic of UKEN. A polished aftermovie that lets participants relive the UKEN experience long after the festival is over.
