PEER SUPPORT SYSTEM KY-KINS IS AN INNOVATIVE NEW PEER SUPPORT SYSTEM designed to creatively support kin and fictive kin caregivers. The program connects caregivers to credentialed peer supporters with lived foster and kinship care experiences. Ultimately, KY-KINS seeks to foster a collaborative, dynamic network to help kin and fictive caregivers, and their families, thrive. Kin and fictive kin caregivers who participate in the program will receive: • Individualized support services from a credentialed peer supporter with lived experience • Weekly check-ins and system navigation support • Access to Kentucky Kinship Resource Center’s virtual Kinship Training Catalogue • Options to participate in KIN-VIP, a structured virtual support group network
