Come learn more about how to be better communicators in a digital age and how to teach it too!
WHO WHAT
One hundred 6th-12th grade teachers and students from Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, and Tennessee.
A hands-on, immersion experience in communication teaching and learning. There will be separate workshops for teachers and students, as well as time when the two groups will work together throughout the week. There will also be evening activities planned each night for further fun and learning. As an added bonus, teachers will have the opportunity to receive Professional Development (PD) credits and/or choose to enroll in CIS 590 and receive 3 hours of graduate credit. Students may choose to enroll in CIS 191 (Exploring Communication) and receive 3 hours of college credit.
