01 The Museum Of Art & Cultural Diffusion The role of museums in society is multifaceted and holds significant importance in preserving, educating, inspiring, and engaging communities. Museums serve as cultural and owns that play educational institutions that play a crucial role in various areas like to preservation of cultural heritage, education and learning, cultural exchange and diversity, community engagement and social impact, inspiration and aesthetic experience. In today's interconnected and rapidly changing world, the preservation and celebration of art and cultural heritage plays a critical role in fostering understanding, appreciation, and unity among diverse societies

02 Community Primary School A community primary school for the Mishing community of Majuli, Assam the largest river island of the world the native hometown of forest man Jadab Payeng. The main concept of the school was to make different from a usual school inspired from nature and the elements of nature inspired me to design different innovative school for the flood affected area. Then main concept of the school is school inside a jungle or co-living with nature.

Admin block A typical assam style pitched roof structure for admin block for natural air and light circulation throughout the building using vernacular material like bamboo and thatch.

Waiting Room Bamboo and thatch structured waiting room for the students and parents. Foundation is made of concrete.

Classroom Type Bamboo and thatch structured classroom is inspired from the inverted boat which is available in each house of Majuli since it’s a flood affected area.

03 Post Pandemic Commercial Office Building GUWAHATI IS THE LARGEST CITY IN THE INDIAN STATE OF ASSAM AND ALSO THE LARGEST METROPOLIS IN NORTHEASTERN INDIA. A MAJOR RIVERINE PORT CITY ALONG WITH HILLS, AND ONE OF THE FASTEST GROWING CITIES IN INDIA BELTOLA IS AN ADJOINING AREA OF THE DISPUR CAPITAL COMPLEX, THE CAPITAL OF ASSAM. THE AREA HAS SEEN RAPID GROWTH SINCE THE 1980S AND IS CONNECTED TO THE NATIONAL HIGWAY 27.

The site has two buildings: the main office building and the second building with the extra activities. The main concept of this project is to create an area to withstand the hot humid climate of Guwahati. The shapes of the building are designed as such to absorb most of the sunlight from south direction on the backside by solid walls so that the front facade can have complete glass curtains. The unusual curved shape helps us to block the direct sunlight from the south. By considering of the wind flow direction, we have created two different zones in the elevation of the site.

Heat Core & Kinetic Filter Facade One is the cold air zone and the other hot air zone the cold air after getting collected and filtered by the hepa filter at the ground floor level is transferred towards the upper floors. Each floor has false ceilings and air ducts beneath them so the hot air will then enter through the ducts and flows the hot air zone of the heat core which eventually goes up to the top floor to the heat sink storage.

04 Recreating A Local Market Guwahati is the largest city in the Indian state of assam and the largest metropolis in northeastern India. A major riverine port city along with hills, and one of the fastest growing cities in India bellota is an adjoining area of the Dispur capital complex, the capital of assam. The area has seen rapid growth since the 1980s and is connected to the national highway 27.

The site has two buildings: the main office building and the second building with the extra activities. The main concept of this project is to create an area to withstand the hot humid climate of Guwahati. I wanted to provide a central or focal point multi -use complex for the new chowk bazar. It will be at the centre connecting all the roads to itself.

The main aim of the proposal is to give a heart to the market. It will centre and focal point of the market symbolizing unity and harmony. The entire market will be radiating outwards along the roads of the market.

1st and 2nd floor are similar in plan and these two floors for different shopping products like grocery, puja products, cloths, footwear, cosmetics, etc.

Community Gathering Space WE HAVE DESIGNED TEMPORARY SHOPS AS A BULLOK CART REMINISCING THE OLDEST DAYS WHEN OUR ANCESTORS USED THESE BULLOK CARTS FOR TRAVELLING , BUSINESS PURPOSE OR CARRY THINGS. THESE BULLOK CARTS ARE MADE UP OF WOOD AND BAMBOO. THEY CARRIED A LAMP IN THEIR CART FOR LIGHT DURING NIGHTTIME.

WE WANTED TO INTRODUCE SOME SMALL COMMUNAL GATHERING SPACES FOR SITTING WITH SMALL PATCH OF GREENERY SURROUNDED WITH SMALL VENDORS LIKE CHAI KI TAPRI, SMALL FRUITS SHOPS, FAST FOOD STALLS ETC. THE STRUCTURE OF THIS CHAI KI TAPDI IS LIKE ‘DOLA’ (ডলা) ABOVE THE BAMBOO STRUCTURE. ‘DOLA’ (ডলা) IS An ASSAMESE TRADITIONAL PLATTER MADE OF BAMBOO WHICH IS USED FOR SEPARATING CHAFF OR BROKEN GRAINS BY WIND AND ALSO USED FOR DRYING DIFFERENT MATERIALS. THE BAMBOO MATERIALS ARE EASILY AVAILABLE IN ASSAM AS WELL AS IN TEZPUR AND EASY TO MAINTAIN AND CONSTRUCTION.
