Olivia and I Joke Reijnders A beautiful friendship set in a very unusual place: a cemetery To read aloud to children from the age of 8 or to read yourself from the age of 10 Olivia and I is an original story about the friendship between two girls and about how love can transcend the boundaries of life and death When the ghost of 11-year-old Olivia arrives at Lindeheuvel Cemetery Cornelia (who died herself in 1891) is excited. It’s nearly been a century since a girl her age has come to Lindeheuvel! Therefore she is determined to become friends with this new girl. However, Olivia is not happy to be there and she doesn’t mind showing that. Even though Cornelia is trying her best to become friends, Olivia is keeping something from her. Cornelia, however, is determined to help Olivia and discover her friend’s secret, but soon she realises she’s got a problem to solve herself.
