WEEK 1 WEEK 3

Pro Tip: Keep activities light and flexible. The goal is participation and connection. Every small action counts as a team win!

Physical Activity has so many health benefits. According to the CDC, physical activity helps you immediately feel better, function better, and sleep better. This program is a great way to help boost your physical activity and improve your health! Below are some activities that you and your team can participate in...

Plan a team walk or team stretch!

Before a shift or at lunch you can plan a quick 10 minute walk or stretch

Create a friendly step challenge!

Make a goal with your team to meet an amount of steps for the week! A good indicator is 7-10k steps per person per day.

Movement Moment!

Schedule a movement moment for your team! This could look like anything from a yoga class to a scheduled walk to a dance class. Get creative with your movement activity!

Eat Well , Drink Well , Live Well

Being at your best every day requires eating and drinking healthily. Drinking lots of water and eating a good diet gives your body the balance, power, and energy it needs. Properly feeding your body promotes not only your physical health but also your happiness and well-being.

Colorful Lunch

vibrant and nutritious meal created when each person brings a fruit or vegetable of a different color to share. Each color on your plate signifies a different nutrient/vitamin that your body requires. Eating a variety of colorful foods helps support your immune system, boosts energy and keeps your body strong and balanced.

\ Hydration

Staying hydrated keeps you feeling your best, focused, and energized. By recording refills and competing with your teammates or even yourself, th hydration challenge makes drinking water enjoyable and promotes the development of long-lasting, healthy habits.

Share Healthy Snack

Sharing nutritious snacks is beneficial since it promotes healthier eating choices and enables everyone to make more informed decisions as a group. It’s an enjoyable way to try new foods and recipes that you might not have otherwise. Working together enables you to share creative ideas, encourage one another’s objectives, and create a sense of community around wellness and health.
