Room and Board The “campus experience” at the University of Idaho is what sets us apart from other education options in the region. Summer Design Week participants stay in Theophilus Tower, a popular residence hall on campus. During the school year, the Tower is typically home to 380 firstyear students and fosters a community committed to campus life involvement. Attendees will eat at Bob’s Place, a multioption, all you care to eat dining facility located next to Theophilus Tower. We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs; alternative arrangements can be made during the registration process.

“ I really enjoyed my experience at Summer Design Week. Not only was it informative, it was fun. I made new friends and learned many new things that I will use in the future.”

Moscow The University of Idaho is surrounded by the rolling Palouse hills and is just minutes away from the forests, rivers and lakes of Northern Idaho. Dubbed the “Heart of the Arts” Moscow is a classic university town where art galleries, movie theaters, coffee shops and restaurants line the streets. Moscow offers a huge Co-Op with organic and natural foods, Northwest-style pubs, as well as locally owned Italian, French, Mexican and Chinese eateries.

While You’re Here While Summer Design Week is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for the campus, we also encourage you to explore the area during your visit—summer is an excellent time to take advantage of all the Palouse has to offer. n Downtown Farmer’s Market n Arboretum Walk n Prichard Art Gallery n Golf n City of Moscow’s popular Artwalk n Hamilton-Lowe Aquatics Center n Hiking or Mountain Biking Moscow Mountain
